It's amazing how just moving some sprites around was able to convey this beautiful scene. Seeing this animated is basically how we pictured it in our minds
Frt. That game makes you struggle so hard and it take so long to get to that point. When this happens it honestly just feels so right. Probably the biggest highlight of the whole game.

I love all the little details. Adding in a bookshelf for the old man to interact with, Teddy sitting in a sassy pose, Ninten and Ana leaving their bags on the table by the door. There's so much time and thought put into every frame of these animations. And I thought it was cute how Ninten covered his face with his hat, too.
This was the moment in Mother 1 that made me realize just what kind of game I'd been playing the whole time. This scene caught me completely off guard, and I loved every second of it.
I will never forget this scene! Despite the limitations with the graphics and sound, this game manages to capture the feeling of young love more genuinely in this scene than any game I've played and that is truly something special 😌

Fallin Love is honestly my favorite tract in all of the Mother series and this animation does such a lovely job of portraying the emotions it conveys. The feeling of despite the danger we’re in and the things we’ve seen we can still take time to give voice of our feelings as people. Absolutely lovely!
I love how instead of just walking around in circles, they're actually dancing but not only that, the walking around had its own little segment in the dance! I caught that!
I’m just...speechless on how this scene was handled here. Pure brilliance. And, I can probably imagine Giegue watching the kids’ every move, and when he sees this exchange between Ninten and Ana, he’d probably think... “That word...love...why...why does it...hurt so much?”

Hi, we're suddenly in the bedroom of a virtual stranger's house. Do you mind if I confess my eternal love out of nowhere? ..... And yet still a WAY better love story than Twilight ... or The Kissing Booth.
That was super adorable! And to be honest....I really wanted to see them kiss because of all the love and passion and cuteness it would bring out, but of course we get the classic anime interruption at the pivotal moment. This was still really awesome.

Plus there is a theory that buzz buzz and ness father (phone man) is always away from ness, probably fighting past giygas but future giygas came and threatened to kill his child so he gets a time machine, disgusted as buzz buzz, and warned ness, and if that's not the Case then ninten and Ana broke up.end of story
bro, according to Nintendo, Ness is not Ninten's son, and Nintendo made Ninten and Ness look similar on purpose, Ness's mother holds a frying pan, which is kinda identical to Ana, and this was also made on purpose just to let community think of that
I'm impressed you managed to make the dance look faithful to the NES version but also make it look like a dance. Truly feels like it was done by a devoted fan. ☺
One of the most wholesome scenes in the NES era of games, sandwiched between a brutal Mt Itoi and the R-7038. There wasn't much room to work with for the hardware, but they did as they could, and the fans filled in the rest. I love it
I mean... who DOESN'T love Ninten? It I could be friends with any fictional character, it would be Ninten. Also that part in game where the 8-bit characters danced together just made me so happy.
I understand why people don't really like Ninten and Ana's relationship since there really isn't a lot of development, but honestly for a Mother game it works, many of its mysteries are left to interpretation so why not this? That's the beauty of Mother, it's that anyone can get involved. P.s this was very cute and lovely. I was wondering if you'll do animations of other franchises?, I'm still pretty satisfied with all these Mother videos, but just wondering.

It still has lots more development than Ness and Paula. All there is for them is the optional ending scene. Ninten and Ana both get far more in comparison. From the dream, the dance scene, their own ending, etc.

Been learning about this series and watching lets plays for a long time, decided recently to play through all the games. I started with Mother 1 and i loved playing though the game and this moment is one of my personal favorites.
I've only played MOTHER once and this is one of those few scenes that just got stuck in my head. Seeing it animated like this was beautiful. Thank you.
There's no many little details to appreciate. The movements that match the original sprite sequence, expanded just enough to greatly enhance the scene. The mutual hesitation from both kids slowly melting away to reveal their true feelings. Many of the lip movements matching the dialogue. You have a great talent for animation.
