@@Blancher42 true, and underage drinking being legal under parents supervision is actually a way to deter kids from drinking alcohol as it actually has a bitter taste, thats why older people usually like alcohol cause their taste buds doesn't taste bitter stuff as well, bitter then they would've tasted like when they were younger
Listen. I respect not showing the Twitter usernames or @‘s, but you don’t need to give every single user in the thread your PFP. That just makes it seem like you were having an argument with yourself.
Its easy to think you are right when everyone else agrees with you... That's a dangerous thing, that's how disturbing things can get normalized and accepted. I don't think it's okay to drink beer when at a young age, or, really at all. It messes up/alters the one thing you use to make decisions and solve problems, the thing you have only one of. It's like smoking, you are damaging or corrupting a part of yourself that can not be replaced.
This guy took it way too seriously, but I’m with him on this. I don’t give a shot if it’s cool to drink it or if you’re a loser if you don’t, if you or the people you hang out around require a drink that’s main selling point is it’s ability to screw with the way you think, then those people probably either don’t like the way you think, or just prefer people that are more impulsive. The entire concept of alcohol to me just sounds like a terrible idea to begin with that has caused so much more pain than it’s worth. Whether it’s obvious things like drunk driving or alcohol addictions, or more singular things like hangovers, vomiting and the depressive effects on your mood, all of that for what? laughing a little louder and more often at parties? meeting new people(who are not even in their own right state of mind)? Feeling like an adult? Why I want to drink something associated with all those terrible things that vastly outweigh the good stuff? I got quite carried away there, sorry, and I do want to clarify that I am okay with other people drinking if it’s a reasonable amount and if they are responsible with it. Plus even if I did think we’d be better off without alcoholic drinks as a society, I know enough about the prohibition to know that anyone who is still trying to make it illegal delusional or uninformed at best, and plainly ignorant and idiotic at worst. I know I wasted all this time writing this massive comment on a very small video, but if anyone would be so inclined, I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts on alcohol, assuming you have something constructive to say.
Drinking beer when you are young won't kill you or hurt you in any obvious way, but it might affect your brain in negative ways. It kills brain cells, not many of course, but it still can kill some. And of course, there's always a chance to get addicted, which isn't actually too much of a problem at a young age, as long as the parents make sure to keep it in small amounts. The moral of the story is to just be careful, don't drink too much, don't drive after drinking, because you might end up killing someone, or yourself.
I may be someone who will never drink by choice but this guy is stupid, you’re allowed to if your parents allow it at home under their restrictions and if you are buying some with a meal at around 16 to 17. This is what it’s like in British law and honestly it’s fine. I am a person who sorta believes alcohol should just never exist but because we can’t really get rid of it we may as well do it like this.
I feel like the persons response was a bit weird but I had a Jell-O shot on accident and I cried because I felt like I was gonna go to hell or something so I can completely understand
