Congratulations!!! I wish you and your family all the best. I have missed your videos, but I fully understand what you've been occupied with over the last few weeks. Having 4 children myself, 2 boys and 2 girls, I am happy for you. My 1st child was the most difficult, not that the child was a problem, but my wife and I did A LOT of learning on the first born.... I think we made most of our mistakes with him, but despite out faults, he turned out very excellent (he's in his 40's now). I've been married to the same wonderful lady since 1979.... so you have a bit of catching up to do. But I have faith in you. If you are anything like your videos, I know you will make (and you are) a great Dad. With all my best wishes.
Thank you so much for the heartfelt comment! Our first child was also very difficult, cholichy for the first nine months, and like you said, it was a big transition between having no kids and living the "going out every Friday night to eat and movie" type of life to suddenly becoming a parent and realizing just how much a life can change. But life changes and we also change, we should expect to change and not resist it. A lot of people will do everything possible to resist change, but life is a whirlpool into which we all jump in and never expect to come out the same on the other side. Thank you so much for the super thanks, I really appreciate it! Hope you have a great new year!
TBH this is the same device that has been sold for the better part of 20 years now. There's no reason why the display isn't dot matrix. Instead it still has that silly fixed iconography that is hard to read. Chess on an OG Palm Pilot looks better than this.
@@AlSuChess, I would assume sales are primarily to grandparents buying for their grandchildren whom they are told are into Chess. Personally, I'd love a small "backup" single player chess device for when there's no internet or AC power access. Unfortunately, this one is incredibly dated to the point where it's almost not even useable.
Great video and great accomplishment reaching 5k!!!!🎉🎉🎉
Thanks man! 5,000 subscribers is not something I ever initially thought would be possible!

Reminds me of my Kasparov electronic chess computer made in 1996...
level 7A took 24 hours to make one move thanks for the video
That's fascinating! I would think that something which takes that long to respond would be frustrating to play. Thanks for sharing!
Excited for the upcoming book review.
Thank you, I'll get through the book and try to make as best a review as I can, maybe Levy will approve!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
👍😊
Cool
Thanks!

Interesting! I wonder how their sales do in general for this device after all these years! Thanks for watching!
