When you start in anything, you don't know anything, inevitably you have to copy, later you reach a level of understanding of the principles and can hoan your own style - oversimplified but true

Thanks you for your analysis and thoughts. Also for using your voice, not a generated one. As I am only English speaking, when l get hung up on a pronunciation l search 'pronounce __x__' here on youtube. With Modigliani l didn't know the 'g' in Italian is silent.
