You got a decent amount for your buck. I hadn't shopped in Sainsbury in such a long time, but your food hauls have inspired me to shop there again.
My Sainsburys is in the next big town from me, but my son is attending a youth club for autistic children close by...perfect timings. Drop Zachri off, go to sainsbury, grab a coffee on the go, then sit & relax for 1/2hr ...Read my book, drink coffee & sssshhhhh our secret...eat a tasty pastry

Hi Donna, I really like your blouse at the start, it suits you loads. You'll have to tell us if the Danish are nice. I've had a taste the difference vanilla yoghurt and it is really lovely so probably your one is too. The muller light raspberry/cranberry I used to get loads and I like that for raspberry if you haven't tried it. It doesnt matter when you spend extra cos I always know you have plans and things under control 😀I won loads from the Lid free fruit spin wheel including a delicious mango today and a whole bos of grape which I never thought I'd finish but I did, so I've been having kind out the usual ones I get and it is nice to have different one from time to time. I won raspberries too but havent open them yet - they had both uk and spanish one in the shop but I didnt know which were best but picked spanish cos it seems too early still for scottish raspberries. Anyway meals sound good and will look out for the lamb ragu,, thankyou x

I don’t think that’s a bad price for all that you got. Here in Kansas it would be way more than that! You bought quite a bit of meat this go round and that always jacks up the price. I can’t wait to see all the luscious meals you make this week!❤

Enjoyed the video our groceries in the u.s. are so high and keep going up our family pays about $250 a week for groceries it's crazy have a great weekend

Your food is way cheaper than The States.
Do you ever have to buy extra in the week? Your food items and menu is really similar to our weekly shop/ meals, and roughly what we spend. The problem we have is we buy extra in the week (fruit, bread, milk etc) and then we end up spending nearly 100 extra!!! Obviously that’s not just bread and milk, but I don’t understand how the little shops add up so much!! Although that does include alcohol too.
We get milk and orange juice delivered from the Milkman but apart from that I don't buy anything else. I try to plan our meals and get enough stuff for breakfast and lunch to avoid other shops. I make my own bread so I just buy a couple of the mixes and make one midweek xx
I think you did very well I know that 128 lb seems like a lot but you had a lot of meat and a lot of things so you did good

Lovely shopping haul Donna and meal plan you might laugh at this Wednesday I said to my grown up son do you fancy a dinner tomorrow I've a piece of pork jn freezer and a gammon joint j got out what I thought was pork and it was gammon i brought out defrosted so we are having today gammon egg and chips for tea ill cook my gammon jn the slow cooker and we'll have the pork for Sunday I've soaked the gammon my son and I don't like salty gammon or bacon love fran in future I'll write on the pieces of meat what they are I won't make that boob again love fran ❤
