Thank you so much for this video! For the longest time the cape on my Arctic Batman had been so yellowed and curled up but couldn't bring myself to just replace it... This video worked like a charm and not only has the yellowing gone but the cape also flattened out and it now looks amazing

I have the 2015 Brick Bounty, can I use the same method to clean the sails or the material that is used is different?

It does work for 70413, as that set's sails is the same as the starched fabric ninjago sail and minifig capes shown in this video. Additionally, any modern starched fabric or spongy fabric from 2015 onwards should work. Great question!

It’s spot cleaner for tough stains, you spray a couple times on a fabric and leave for 10 mins, helps pre-soak particularly bad spots before washing.

Cannot wait to restore my Black Pearl to her former glory!
Do you have any tips on washing the Lego bricks? My ship is horrendously dusty… Now it’s more of a Grey Pearl… 😅

@@Kcabs10 See my other video on restoring the Eldorado Fortress for a guide on washing dusty Lego bricks. Be careful with the minifigures when you wash them, better to hand wash and dry in a separate container due to their high value. All the bricks for the main ship should be fine to combine and wash in one load, and clean sails separately by the method in this video and use a lint remover once you’ve flattened them to really bring back their original deeper shade of black. Good luck!

Yes, this works with the standard starched fabric cape pieces, same printing as far as I can tell
