- CATCHING BIG CATFISH FROM THE BANK IN A CREEK THAT DUMPS INTO THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
Hector and I had a couple hours to fish
weather was overcast and about 60 degrees water level was up due to recent rain.
13 lb blue catfish - 1:05
4 lb Gar - 4:19
30 lb blue catfish - 4:33 reel handle snaps off
third was a baby flathead catfish - 7:20
rod used for first catfish was an ugly stick catfish combo - amzn.com/B000CQ...
rod used for 30 lb catfish- 10 ft kingcat rod and reel combo from cabelas
rod used for small flathead catfish - zebco hawg seeker spinning rod with catmaxx reel bait caster.

went out to this spot today around 130 pm with just night crawlers and caught 4 channel cats, i was a little further down by the river had some good bites, next time i go i gotta get some chad,
