Ferb is from Britain. His father married Candace and Phineas' mother, so that makes him their step brother. But they don't refer to him as step brother or to his dad as step father. They always say brother and dad. So they don't think of them as anything less than family. We never do find out who was Candace and Phineas' father.

Ooh yes I'd love to see you react to more! Honestly every song is a bop - some of my favorites are Let's Go Digital, Summer Belongs to You, Me Myself and I, Carpe Diem, Our Movie's Better Than Yours, and Fabulous.

Solid suggestions, nice work everyone. Might've swapped the middle one for the extended Agent P theme, but definitely a very iconic slice of the series' music here.
The Perry the Teenage Girl theme is the straight up best version and really introduces the concept of the character to new viewers.
There are so many good songs in Phineas and Ferb. I used to watch this with my step dad who didn't like cartoons while we ate dinner and he actually enjoyed it because of the music. Some of my fave were "Mom, look!", S.I.M.P., There's a Platypus controlling me, and Whatcha doin'? With special to I love you mom cause it's so heartfelt
I grew up with these songs in danish, the language of Denmark, and I think they’re actually better than the english ones, but I’m biased of course, the danish dubs were really good until around 2005, including the songs, then it went downhill real fast…

The red haired girl is Candace - Phineas's sister and Ferb's step-sister. She's one of the main characters.
The brunette girl is Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, daughter of Doctor Heinz Doofenschmirtz. She's a minor character while her father is.... i guess a villain?
Phineas and Ferb have two different stories going on. One story being about Phineas and Ferb and what they're doing that day, and a side-story involving another main character.
The show is great to react to and I suggest watching at least a few episodes.
One song you gotta hear is “Agent P” the extended version. It’s a BOP!

You should see Gitchee Gitchee Goo's EXTENDED version, there's a lot more lyrics than what was in the version you saw.
I always enjoy the rhythm song everytime I come across it.
This is one of my favorite cartoons. And its funny because I was in college when it came out. But its one of those cartoons that you know is meant for kids but because they also wanted to make it enjoyable for adults, they dont treat kids like idiots. Kids are smarter than adults give them credit for, so whenever a kids show has smart humor that appeals to everyone, you have a lasting hit.
Fun fact, the voice actress for the girl in black in BUSTED (the first song) also voiced Marceline from Adventure Time
0:46 Fun Fact Marceline Voice actor Olivia Olsen sings in this song and plays the goth brunette girl in this show.
Summer Belongs to You is my favorite.
Im rewatching it on my free time and I forgot how catchy these damn songs are. A decade and a half later and I can still sing them word for word 💀
Fun fact: Phineas and Ferb are the same age. Despite this they aren't twins, even though they're brothers. This is because they're step brothers. Although they aren't related by blood, their bond goes much deeper than that.
Vanessa is the Burnett and she is also Marceline‘s voice on adventure time you might hear that lol 😂

every episode has atleast one song, and so many of them are on my casual enjoy playlist. think my p and f playlist is over a hundred long

Had at least o n e completely unique and originally written for that specific episode.
Some of which having more than 3.
In a back to back 15 minute episode format.
And whenever there wasn't more than one in the nain episode there was a highlight put into the end credits or sometimes even a spoof version of what was used in that episode that would never be used again.
Also the song Summer Belongs to You was actually not the series finale song. It was only the halfway point roughly 7 seasons in for what was only then the Globe Trotting International Adventure episode of traveling around the world. And this was intentional given that it is the longest day of summer being following the Sun during the Summer Solstice which is the day where there is the most sunlight and the longest day.
The amount of heart and soul and effort into this show is one we had arguably never seen before and have never seen again. It was the best Summer Vacation ever. To the point near the end it was brought up breaking the fourth wall that it felt like over thirteen years and we apearently pestered the creators into making an episode they meant as a joke but never meant to actually create.

Really, you could just about react to any song from the show and it'll be good, but I would maybe recommend getting some context for them by watching the show. The show is very self-aware and self-referential, so in order to have any idea what the songs are about, you'll need context.
