dunno if anyone cares but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the new series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of months =)
Thanks for the video.. it popped up randomly as a suggested video.. maybe explain what it does and the benefits of the part next time.. I have a turbo rzr but it's an after market turbo and it has a loud pssshhh after I left off the gas so I'm going to guess it has a real BOV... I had to read some of the comments to figure out what this was and what it did.. I'm not a mechanic. I still enjoyed the video.
Sound and reliability, if it vents to atmosphere then you'll hear the "pssshhhh" when you let off, if it's like the stock you won't hear anything like stock. But the stock is plastic and can stick open reducing power
Exactly what Tom K said Tim. The plastic valves are known to fail. On cars and on UTV's like the RZR. They live in a high heat, high vibration environment and that doesn't serve the OEM plastic valves well. This is a reliability mod above all else.

A blow off vlave or diverter valve vents excess pressure from the intake system between throttle applications. The more pressure that is built up at the time the more it will vent. Under heavy RPM and heavy load the noise will be louder due to more air movement.
Hey HL, this BOV can be setup to vent to atmosphere but the OEM setup on the Polaris RZR runs a re-circulation system. I'm not sure why they refer to it as a BOV since it is really more of a diverter valve. The reason they run a closed loop system is to prevent any outside contamination in off-road environments. In this install I have it setup in the stock configuration to recirculate. If you vent to atmosphere you get a much cooler WOOOOSSSSHHHH sound when you let off the throttle though.
Like your shop setup, bet that lift is really nice to have
Thanks For Showing How It Sounds!
That's because those BOVs are practically silent, go with an Agency power BOV if you want to hear something
Thank you so much for this video I will try to do this myself .. question.. where does the spring that come with the kit go?
Did you make a video showing how you vented to atmosphere to make the pshhhhh sound ?
Awesome job as always!
Thanks Flip Ja!!
Thanks for the video -- A nut driver does wonders.... Take it easy!

@Magnus Kyrie Definitely, I've been using Instaflixxer for since december myself =)
Did you fix your secondary clutch? I see it's not right.

what is advantage of this valve? more boost?

I'm sure it's just the camera but the rear shock looks incredibly bent when you get close up
Definitely the Camera Jade. I hope..... lol ;)
Is this any louder than the stock bov that I can barely hear ? Not wanting to run atmosphere
Hey, not really. Only way to really make it any louder is to vent to atmosphere.
aren't they adjustable?????
Are you asking if the valve is adjustable?
Does the blow off valve Work right away or does it have to build boost in the turbo to vent to the atmosphere

Is that a atmospheric BOV?

mohamedsbehat nope
🤦♂️
Just in your dreams
