shame shame. posting the canter is incorrect. DO NOT THINK POSTING THE CANTER IS in any way the proper way to ride your horse. Disclaimer: If you are playing polo you ride in a 2 point. DO NOT POST THE CANTER
@@equestrianjones5025 it is incorrect. I am a professional show jumper and with all due respect, your rationale is heart breaking. "We", will do a 2 point if we have a full handed, forward mover to bring him in for our line to build up energy for take off on a high rail. in no way shape or form would I condone this (nor any one else I have shared this with), teach this or support it in any way. It is wrong like so many other bad habits riders/trainers have developed.
Trace McCleave, so you know what you are doing? Posting canter and going up in two point, for jumping especially, is a good skill. She gave really good reasons and points on when you should use it. Maybe open your mind up and know what’s good for your horse.
Incredible way of explaination...thanks
The student asked the very question I was thinking
Posting at the canter is not correct..
its just wrong isn't it?
🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I knew and got regular lessons from a polo horse trainer in England. They did not do this... Which is good. Cause it's incorrect.
Bevin Allison it’s not incorrect, a lot of showjumpers do it to help the horse stretch over there backs
@@equestrianjones5025 thats half seat, not posting
