Bro the bit is in the mouth and horses mkth is more sensituve than ours. You dont need so sharp bit, i ride on tgick french link, and to horse does whatever i want. By such strong bit youre numbing th mouth over time, so horse is going to need sharper and sharper one. Also why you are using drop nosebands, thay can rupture or break nasal bone! If the horse if comfortable with bit, he will not open his mouth anyway so take that off!

Kool stuff. Nice looking horse. Wonder what breed it was. What was he a doctor of? How many doctors would put themselves in that predicament? He knows his stuff for sure. I'll bet all horses wouldn't put up with that though. Good minded animal. I have just one problem with his technique though, I'm white and I can't jump.

I love when he admits he made a mistake and explains what that was. That just doesn't happen these days. Not even with the current horse whisperers. That gives me more respect when a trainer can admit a mistake and explain it.

This man was very kind compared to standards in breaking horses in his time. Now we even have better ,more humane methods
