Thanks for the great reaction Sam! I knew this would hit your soft spot...this is a very touching song...and Tim and Chris were just awesome! I firmly believe that there are angels among us every day! Now you should react to Chris' video Moving On.....this is another touching video he does with group! He sang this at shows the year he was leaving the group! Can't wait to see what you do next!
Sam, I fully agree that you should react to Movin’ On. There are two versions of the song (which Chris wrote), one with Chris singing alone and playing the piano, and the other is Chris backed up by the rest of Home Free a cappella (my favorite of the two). You will love the song and I’m sure you will be moved to tears. Be prepared. I find the song so emotional yet so uplifting.
Thank you for such a genuine reaction to this great song! Tim’s & Chris’s voices blend beautifully & the message in the song is so uplifting. Such a great reminder these days of Who is ultimately in charge. Thanks again for your reactions, Bruddah Home Fry from a Home Fry in Kentucky!! ❤️
im not an angels kinda guy but holly crap, that got me too. I love how these guys and how they support each other through the years. weather they have been together and apart.
Somebody may have already mentioned this but Chris Rupp and his brother Adam founded Home Free. Chris left the group several years ago to go out on his own. Adam is the beat boxer for the group and also sings but never solos, except when beatboxing.
i know there are with us,when we need them they are there Angels watch over us..i really thought you was going to cry,my eyes filled up when i saw that.like you said many times, sometimes certain songs,or the way they are done, really move us. Thanks Sam,hope you had a good birthday
I miss my dad also. I do believe there are Angels among us too. Home Free got to sing this song on stage with the group Alabama, when they opened for them, then got invited also to sing with them.
This song has been one of my favorites for decades. The group Alabama put this out in the 70's, I believe. I might be wrong, I often am. Anyway; like you, I truly believe there are many Angels watching over us. Things have happened to me that are totally unexplainable. Many times when I've felt down and out, and all alone. I would feel a soothing hand upon my back, and yet....I was all alone in the house. Thank you, Bruddah Sam. I'm still waiting for you to do Greensleeves with Tim and Peter Hollins. *wink* *wink*
Where are you Christmas..being sung by.. Mat..Savanna..and little Penny singing...you will not be disappointed when you have time to listen to it..God Bless..Love Chris
Hi Bruddah Sam. I love this song too. The original Alabama recording was released in 1993 (according to the internet). In that recording Alabama has children singing with them during the last two repetitions of the chorus. It is really moving. I’m not sure if there is a video for that version of the song...but there are videos out there of Alabama singing it. Great reaction.
Sam, so sorry for your loss. Yes God put Angels among us to watch over us. Thank God I to am a Saved Christian. Yes I was raised with the Red Book at church, so many beautiful hymns.
I saw a small clip where Home Free sang this with Alabama. What a treat that was !! Not only for them, but for the Fries who saw it. Thsi is sweet. Chris and Tim did a sweet job with the song. When you make a list for Chris First Flight to Phoenix, Drinkin' With Me, and When The Saints Go Marching In - A Cappella - Chris Rupp, Deke Sharon, Jeff Thacher, and Patreon! are a few of my favorites. Thanks Bruddah Home Fry! ^_^
Love Tim and Chris. Their voices are awesome, and this song...it brings tears and a deep feeling in my heart for everyone, me included, who have love, and lost, some special.
I am from England and have only just discovered Home Free from your reaction videos. This song is absolutely beautiful and gives me strength during these troubled times.
A bit late discovering this song of Tim and Chris but better late than never. As always, this was amazing song by two amazing singers. Love Home Free and happy to see Chris sing with his buddy once more.
Love the reaction. If I may suggest, please look at Mark Lowry who wrote the lyrics to Mary Did You Know. That will totally bring tears to your eyes. Mahalo.
Oh, cool! I've been waiting for this one. Hooray!!! Isn't that so tremendous?! There have been several times when I've witnessed the power of angels in some marvelous ways, and this song moves me very much. I've known the song since way back when Alabama came out with it, but this is my favorite arrangement, I think. So glad you will start doing more Chris reactions. I think you are totally going to love his RISE album. I can hardly wait! :-)
What a beautiful song and reaction. Yes, I believe with all my heart, there are angels among us. They are all around us in many different forms both protecting us and guiding us when we need it. Again, they did a beautiful version of this song, thank-you for both sharing and reacting to it. 😊😊😊
Just an FYI that the song’s basis was from the songwriter’s experience of her and her band narrowly avoiding a serious auto accident. Her song story can also be found on UA-cam. God Bless.
Aloha Bruddah! 😊 Love your reaction to this one! They did a wonderful job with this song. It has always been one of my favorites from Alabama. Would love to see your reaction to Moving On from Chris Rupp featuring Home Free!❤
It is a beautiful song I really do believe in Angels I lost my husband about 11 months ago Your reaction was great Keep the reactions coming they are great God Bless you
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter as well. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I've just now come across you and love how up beat and positive you are and your sense of humor so of course I subscribed! Look forward to more videos!
Many of Chris' Christmas songs have been done with his new group, 7th Ave, that includes his sister. Highly recomment "Mary Did You Know?" But don't forget Home Free's "Joy To the World." It is basically a lost video; you'll be amazed how many of the Fries haven't ever seen it!
It truly is an amazing song. It is so comforting. HF did a short clip of this song in their Alabama Sampler which is beautiful too. We fries were hoping they'd do the full song, but alas, they haven't. But this is just as beautiful. Thx!
Check out videos from The Hound and The Fox. They’re another vocal group and did We 3 Kings with Tim Foust and a version of Johnny Cash Hurt with Adam Chance
((( Bruddah ))) I'm so sorry about your Dad and your son. For sure those angels walk among us. I think God arranged it that way to help us with the grief that accompanies our losses. There is another very nice young man on YT ( Jerod M ) who does reactions and recently posted a memorial video he made for when he lost his baby boy. I believe that grief shared is grief lessened a tiny little bit even if it is with strangers -- or Home Fries
Guess who’s coming to Stockton April 10th!!!!! Guess who! Guess who! Home Free in da house 🙂. (If you prefer San Jose on the 9th, Santa Rosa on the 11th or Redding on the 12th. Whatever is closest to you 😉).
Chris and Tim absolutely very talented singers. Love them both. Very inspiring.
Thanks Sam!! Can't wait for you to do the Christmas song with all 6 of them together!! (What Child is This)
It must have been special for them to work together again.
I was crying right along with you. This song is very special to me.
I would suggest I'm Moving On, which Chris did prior to leaving Home Free. He wrote it for a friend's funeral, but its truly beautiful
I cry every time I hear this song. The men in the group Alabama would be proud of these 2 here
Thanks for the great reaction Sam! I knew this would hit your soft spot...this is a very touching song...and Tim and Chris were just awesome! I loved this! Thank you! Yes--always singing. (Galatians 2:20)
Tears never hurt anyone!
Great song and message! Thanks for sharing! God's Grace is truly amazing!!
I love this too. Especially that Chris gets heard. He was almost lost in Home Free.
I love the fact we can hear him here. Most of the time it was just hard to pick him out.
I don't know you but I saw in your face what is real on how I feel about angels snatching us from tragedy that almost gets us! 💗
That first verse where the old man saves the child, really chokes me up.
There are few groups that sing accapella this well.
AMEN, PRAISE YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!
Chris Rupp is Adam Rupps brother (the beatboxer) they are the original founders of Home Free, but Cgris left and was replaced by Adam Chance
Let us be angels among this troubled world.
im not an angels kinda guy but holly crap, that got me too. I love how these guys and how they support each other through the years. weather they have been together and apart.

Great reaction as always Brother!

Alabama, Randy Owen's I believe. His young daughter had a very close friend that was killed, this song came from that tragedy.

I think Chris looks better with hair, than he does bald. This song has a very good msg and rhythm. It's very catchy.
