Thank you, Before Firefighting I was a property manager for a Boy Scout summer camp in the Portland area. with a limited budget each year, if I couldn't find a volunteer I had to do things myself. We lived year round at the camp for 10 years and had many opportunities to learn and practice new skills. During my Firefighting career we purchased a 1896 farm house and fully renovated it.

Having the boards in direct contact with the window glass, will they not get wet from condensation? Thank you!

They may, this is how these windows are designed to be trimmed. I may look into if its a problem.
