You are the queen of using graphic shapes/designs in the most aesthetically pleasing ways possible! I so look forward to seeing your work as it always provides a way of seeing things in ways I hadn’t considered.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and experiments with large stencils. Absolutely stunning cards! As I mentioned to Karen, I don’t work a lot with stencils. Yet! I am inspired to dig them out of my stash and start my own experiments. Thanks 👍
Your last one should be a patterned paper....I’d buy it😃 excellent and informative Ardyth (my mom was Ardith♥️) Love seeing Canadian talent ...I’m Canadian too.. Hugs🤗💕💕
Oh that's so nice! One of my close friends' mother is Ardyth! So fun to be in such a 'select' club! lol! Thanks for watching, Sharon! I'm from Toronto - where are you?
I have moved twice since purchasing the Penguin Palace Stencil 360 so I have not been able to play with it. This really inspired me. I think I can find it now. Thanks for the beautiful ideas and the fail, that always helps
Oh yay! Please contact me if you have any trouble with it (it comes with a LOT of pieces which can feel overwhelming at first, but once you power through that, you will love what you can do with it, I'm sure! ) Thanks so much for watching!
The one that gave you such a challenge was definitely worth the work. I'm nearly having to pick up my jaw off the floor over how beautiful it turned out. And you're having a great hair day too! Win/win!
Beautiful cards! Not ones I would have thought of as being “Christmas-y”, but I’m finding that they don’t have to be. That last card looks like a close up of a zinnia flower!! Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
I was counting on the red colour scheme to give them a holiday feel, but I do feel like pretty patterns can work for any occasion! Thanks for watching!
OMG what amázing results, really stunning cards 👍, i've got some big stencils too, going to look through them again, cause i have hardly ever used them, did not know when i bought them, that they were so big (mmm... Perhaps because of you not such a big mistake anymore, thx!) , but akso thx 4 adding some "mistakes" in your video, we all make them, but most of thetime i don't give up, like u do and come up with new techniques or have to add stuf that make it even better, and i learn a lot from my mistakes, so nice to see i don't sometimes struggle alone 🤭😉😁, love your video!
Ardyth, the last card IS stunning!!!! 😍😍. But I also loved the spray design. I kind of thought it looked like twisted ribbons. 🤷🏻♀️. Can’t wait to see what you do next. 😉😉
Stunning Ardyth, your card ideas are always lovely. You are so right I come across a large size stencil I don't give it a thought until now. Thank you for inspiring me
I just found your channel. Thank you - I've always been wary of using domed blenders on my stencils for the exact same reason. Time to get my brushes out! And I loved how the last card came out. I couldn't really see where it was heading - until the last view. Stunning!
So so cool. I too haven’t used my really large stencils that I love so much when I saw them on cards. This video has helped me try what I have for really neat “guy” cards as well. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
Hey Ardyth, I'm a new subscriber, discovered you through your swap with Keren. What you accomplished with just a few tools and only two or three colors is nothing short of amazing. My media of choice are usually colored pencils on paper and acrylics on canvas. So glad you partnered with Keren and opened my eyes. Bright blessings from Louisiana.
What a great video on ink blending with stencils. All of your cards turned out beautiful, but the last one with the circle turning thing, Lol, is absolutely stunning. Is the lighted lighting bolt behind you have anything to do with Harry Potter? Just wondering.
Haha! No. It's more of a nod to David Bowie. I am a BIG fan. Never even thought of Harry Potter, which probably shows just how old I am LOL! Thanks so much for watching!
You can use soapy warm water, but I usually find that there is still a little bit of 'stick' left, which doesn't bother me. I think that rubbing alcohol or a 'goo-gone' type product would probably remove it completely. Thanks for watching, Christine!
Your projects are always so inspirational! I have issues with Pixie Spray, soap and water doesn't remove it for me....my stencils remain sticky. What's your tip?
I'm sorry to say, I don't have a tip. I live with the residual sticky after the soap and water - it's usually just a little tacky and doesn't seem to cause me any issues. I hope you can find an answer! Thanks so much for watching!
It's impossible to get it right for everyone. But you can slow down the speed of any UA-cam video by clicking in the lower right corner and adjusting it - hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Love those stencils & cards, especially the one with the circle mask. Hope your joggles link is an affiliate link because I spent way too much money over there getting a few stencils…and then a ton of other stuff, yikes.
Haha! No such thing as a dumb question. My square cards are 4.25x4.25 inches so they fit in regular A2 cards, and don't require extra postage. And that's why I haven't even looked to see if anyone sells envelopes that size! Thanks for watching!
Please help? I used pixie spray one time and when I tried to clean it I could not get that junk off! I even tried alcohol! I know now to have a little baking pan close by with water, but if I forget it get lazy, can I get that off some other way? Thanks!
I would love to help, but I really can't. My stencils are a little sticky after cleaning with soap and water, but I don't mind it, so I have never tried to figure out how to get that last little bit off. I'm surprised alcohol didn't work - I think that's what I would have recommended trying. Hope you can find the answer! Thanks so much for watching!
@@ardyth well thank you for telling me that you have that residue left also. I thought maybe my van was bad. I enjoy watching you Ardyth. You just ooze talent out of your skin! The speed that you can create is mind blowing. Always such beautiful cards! Thank you! Happy thanksgiving!🦃🍁🍽
Don’t use the word “Juicy” that’s a ridiculous choice. Is it a fruit or a forever chemical? Ever heard of a synonym? Saturated, full, new ink pad, soaked - even the word moist would work.
Wow! Thanks for letting me know. Juicy is definitely a term widely used by cardmakers. And if you knew what I meant when I said it, then it worked. Thanks for watching!
You are the queen of using graphic shapes/designs in the most aesthetically pleasing ways possible! I so look forward to seeing your work as it always provides a way of seeing things in ways I hadn’t considered.
Thank you so much 😀
yes now we are talking, lol😁Crafting is just like life, frame despair hope and a gorgeous outcome, great cards using Keren's stencils😍
Haha! Thanks for watching!
You weren't too happy when you used the sprays. As a artist, I really liked it! :)
Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much for watching!
Great colors and composition. Your voice is pleasant to listen to also!
Thank you so much! Voiceovers still make me nervous! lol! Thanks so much for watching!
Those are all fantastic, but the last one was stunning! Good on ya for not letting the 360 stencil beat you! lol
Haha! I'm stubborn that way! Thanks so much for watching!
Wow! Absolutely stunning. I would have never thought to try big stencils. You have certainly changed my mind.😊
Thanks so much 😊
I love that you show the hits and misses
It's part of crafting. We don't (at least I don't) get it perfect first time - a lot of it is experimenting! Thanks so much for watching!
Just rewatched and wowed all over again

Well done, as usual! That 360 degree tool still baffles me but you nailed from the beginning!
Haha! It's less complicated than it looks. And it's fun! Thanks for watching!
Such gorgeous cards! That lotus stencil is SO pretty! I hadn’t seen the stencils 360 tool! So cool! Thanks for sharing! :)

The last one reminds me of designs from a spirograph, very cool!
I would love to see some Hanukkah cards as well
Yes! These designs in blue would be fabulous!
That final card looks like a close-up of the center of a dahlia. And the CP colors you used look gorgeous on all the cards.

@@ardyth I only know about Harry Potter because of my son. He was/is still a big fan and he’s 28. David Bowie is more my speed.
Ardyth, what do you use to get the pixie spray off? Please.
