WOW - this is great! Very well done! I think you'll be hitting the ball out of the park with this! I've just signed up for notifications on the crowd supply site and am looking forward to it. Will you be offering options to get the right solar panel, Lithium Ion Capacitor, and external antenna?
Thank you so much for your support! You will be able to buy every single accessory, including the 3D case. We are working on a final version for fundraising.
I think the only mistake Espressif made was not embed in the ESP32-P4 the Wi-Fi Transceiver. It is a 400Mhz IC, very suitable for Smart Home devices, but you need to use another esp32 like C3 or C6 to complement you project. Great video. I always see your videos as soon as they are released.
Thank you so much for your comment and for the continuous support. I agree with you, the lack of an embedded Wi-Fi/BLE/... transceiver in the ESP32-P4 is a bit of a drawback, especially for smart home projects where connectivity is key. However, I think Espressif focused on performance and flexibility, allowing developers to combine different modules like the ESP32-C3 or C6/C5/H2.
Mistake? not really. With the radio sharing the chip with fast dual core MCU would likely disturb it quite a lot. The two chip solution is likely to give better wifi and processing performance.
I've demonstrated the potential of the ESP32-P4 by integrating it into the projects I've developed. Simply showing the ESP32-P4 without real-world demos wouldn't have conveyed its true capabilities or possible applications. Plus, showcasing the projects I've worked on is part of the goal of the video, and I see no problem with that.
I had honestly thought of developing a demo to control twitch chat and other things. Do you think it could be interesting. Maybe leave the code opensource on github.
@@SalvatoreRaccardi Do you think you could write the drivers required to make this P4 screen work with esphome? I think there would be a big audience for such a controller.
Great. Never heard someone speak Englishalian so good.
Are you kidding me? 😂
@@SalvatoreRaccardi 😁, really, it's a good idea adding usb power delivery to the system. Cheers.
Wow impressed by the lights
For smarthome is perfect
complimenti, bravo, bel lavoro.
Grazie!
Your work is amazing :)
Thank you very much!

@@SalvatoreRaccardi That's great, I'm looking forward to it. Also, I just put up a note on the esp32 reddit forum to help spread the word. Good luck!

Good point.
Nice work👍🏼 When will the OBJEX Link S3 Dev board be available for purchase?
In the coming weeks, we will launch a crowdfunding campaign on CrowdSupply. For now, we are focusing on promoting the product.
you have promoted your objex s3 module instead of discussing about esp32 P4

Nice board to make a car speedometer cluster
Yep, the ESP32-P4 will significantly simplify the development of a wide range of projects.
I hope someone could make this screen compatible with HA Deck, it would be awesome to replace my streamdeck

@@JamesTenniswood I think there is already someone who is doing it. I could work on it too.
what display type& model is that?
In the ESP32-P4 dk docs you can find the id model of the display.
Where from you got esp32 p4 ? At what price?
Aliexpress ~70euro
