Thank you for another great tutorial!!! I play electric guitar at my church, usually as the only electric so I blend lead and rhythm parts together, but occasionally we have two electrics and I do all the lead guitar stuff. I'm a subscriber and often check this channel for interesting ideas to spice up some parts. When there is ample time to prep, I mostly learn the album version and then try out different ideas on my own and come up with extra parts that fit the song and sound good, but your channel is a fantastic resource for different ideas and pedalboard sound/tone advice! And you guys have honestly saved me more than once when our music director changes a song or two last minute, and I have to learn a new song fast. Please keep doing these tutorials and play-through videos!! You all are amazing!
The versatility of the one-note root lead line really cannot be overstated. I learned it years ago from that video you did with the Tele, and it's helped me in countless songs where I don't know the part or there isn't one. Doesn't matter the genre either, just change the subdivision or the tone around and you can fit in almost any pop-music adjacent style
Thank you so much for making this in depth video! I’m playing this song at my church on Sunday and I’ve been needing a tutorial just like this! THANK YOU!
Thanks for doing this. I love this song, especially the bridge with those hit chords starting on the and of 1. Great stuff. I'm watching to prep for the song for worship team rehearsal. I listened to the multi tracks and figured some cool stuff to do but definitely love something like this to be more thorough and learn different options and ideas. Great resource! Thanks for it.
17:45 basically you sit there.. Just I like to do something... lol.. Can relate to that... hahahaha. Great teaching. We have to play it for Christmas Special this year. This come's in handy.. blessings man
Thank you so much for explaining this so well! I have considerable hearing loss, so these tutorials are a gold mine for me. Is there anyone teaching the lead guitar parts for "Jesus Is Our King"? I know it's pretty simple, but since I can't hear everything, maybe there are parts I'm missing. Thank you!
I know this might not be in the style of music you guys play, but if you could do a cover and tutorial of Youre doing it all again by Todd Dulaney, it would be a dream come true, there are a lot of "covers" but i dont think they really cover what to play, and they dont help to learn the song. Please and thank you! God Bless
Yes we are doing the song but in Eb except for when the keyboard decided to do it in E without telling anyone. Looking for a better understanding of lines.
Thank so much for what you guys do! I'm 63, playing 8 years now. You make is so easy to understand and replicate.

Wow. That tone is top notch. Do you have a video breaking down your rig? Amp, pedals, ect?
Just take a look at any of our videos :) we make patches for a lot of different units and explain the setup in most videos!
Subscribed :)

Can you write down what you did for the intro lead line Like what are the notes you hit for each fret. I'm lost at that part.
