DR Error Solved Bosch 300 Series Dryer

  • This is an Instructional video on how to take apart a Bosch 300 Series Dryer to clean the water pump. Lint buildup will cause the dryer to stop working properly. It will run for 5 minutes and stop while blinking 'DR' on the screen.

    This is not necessary. Apply pressure to the access panel under the condenser by clicking on the two clips on the side and pushing downwards on the left side of it. It will pop up and you can clean completely without removing 60 screws.

      Did just what you suggested. Took less than 5 minutes and was very easy. Thanks for the comment and simple instructions!

      I did it your way a couple times and found extremely difficult to reach all the way in there and do a good job of cleaning. The problem just returned in a few months.

    So I am a new renter with this and I could not for the life of me figure it out...I tried vacuuming out the line and it did work once, but the dreaded DR Error came back. So THANK you for the tips and tricks. An ACCESS door on the side would be SOOOOOO Easy.

      I tried it that way a few times and I found it super awkward to reach in there. I could never be sure if I cleaned it out well. Sometimes the error came back right away. Doing it this way is actually faster for me now and I can be sure it is fully cleaned.
