Very good explanation, capacitors have a place in many systems. When customers are trying to reduce demand loads when starting large equipment, the charge held from the capacitor can reduce end rush current hence demand charges for motors, compressors, and the like. In a solar application, the capacitors would be used much the same way, reducing the demand pikes on the battery storage units and picking up those momentary fluctuations that can reduce battery life.

Hi I'm new to your channel just subscribed, I wanted to let you know you're very close but it was something I discovered years ago go if you have a source that can charge your capacitors and you have or you split your bank into 2 different banks and switch between them then you can run your bank Indefinitely. Now people ask why would I want to do this is something nikolai Tesla did in his experiment so I've been using solar to charge up my banks then I start using A 2001 inverter which means that I'm taking a Ace in AAC plug that converts it to DC which is 60 W and I'm still able to charge up that bank means I step the electricity down in my house. Now. Now I'm alternating the capacitors which steps it up and then I used energy as I want Means that I'm pulling less energy from the grid and with a W meter you can see that in real action. Uhhhhhh. You can use 100% of a capacitor and not hurt it. And lithium is around 50% somewhere. Say if you had a capacitor battery bank m you could just run that inverter till the low voltage cut out kicks in. No harm to the caps
I'm looking at 2x kilowatt labs 3.55kwh supercapacitor bank to give 7.1kwh for my coach to motorhome conversion. What are everyone's thoughts? These are 2-3 years old 2nd hand
Those Inverters have been on mostly 24/7 for almost 2 years straight now. I think the Key to people having failure is overload and abuse of the inverters. Well any power inverter in fact. If you need 3kw of power get 4 kw and have headroom of power. I usually shoot 1kw bigger than I need.

Essentially yes you can. But having a Large enough bank of them would be quite expensive also.
