Thanks for posting ! My girlfriends yearly car inspection got declined because they couldn’t close it. Followed your video and fixed it instantly ! Saved here some money and car technical inspection approved for an other year thanks a lot !
My yearly inspection managed to actually mess it up! It closed fine until after the inspection,when they passed me but informed me it doesn't close lol. Now I'm stuck with it trying to fix
Just went out and fixed it in seconds. Brilliant and simple, wouldn't have thought of this. It became a nightmare having to open the bonnet, finally there's a solution to it. Many thanks
@@mechtechmechanical1571 I went down and did what you said, it closed but wasnt easy, I think the problem is the bar on the bonnet may be slightly bent, I need a new battery so will just get the mechanic to knock the bar straight.
@@joeclarke1222 had to get a slam panel in the end goes for like £50 used on eBay, but I tried so many problem solving to fix in but in the end only a new slam panel fixed it

@@Tom-zn6px mines not working after adjusting either. Ordered a new latch mechanism. Did you sort yours?
