I feel Isha is meant to represent what young Powder aspired to be. When we were first introduced to Powder in S01E01, she was scared to jump even though she was ready and surrounded by family who looked out for her. Meanwhile, when we were first introduced to Isha, in S02E02, she jumped without hesitation even though she was alone and couldn't quite make it. Where Powder was full of self-doubt and frequently hesitated, Isha was bold and quick to act. Where Powder was scared of getting hit and would run from a fight, Isha would jump in without hesitation. Where Powder deployed the monkey bomb and kept herself safe, resulting in her killing her entire family, Isha put herself in harms way, willingly sacrificing herself to save her family.
First time watching your channel, you said something briefly in the beginning which intrigued me, and then your comment about the gear sealed the deal for me. You’re one of the best reactors on UA-cam, well at least to this show and I’ve seen about 40 different ones. Very intelligent commentary, keep up the great work
I swear Viktor is extremely quotable..... _"If you're going to change the world, don't ask for permission"_ , _"In the pursuit of great, we failed to do good"_
10:23 Many people, me included, think that what Vander is trying to do here is warning them, maybe trying to say "Run" that only leaves his mouth as incomprehensible growls as the beast already takes control 😭
The music that plays is the same theme that plays in s1 when he defends Vi after the explosion, and his face reflects anguish the entire time, especially when Isha sacrifices herself.🥲🥲
It is very impressive how you mention "everyone's agendas are colliding in this episode..." and I dont think the writers get enough credit for making EVERY PLOT POINT in 6 episodes all come together in this episode. Most of them feeling very disjointed too. But honestly it's believable. You get Singed, Ambessa, Jayce, Vi, Powder, Viktor, all in the same place. And every person is here out of desperation. Which is what makes it so believable, these characters are willing to risk everything for their goal.
16:28 I actually think Isha did help save everyone including Vander by sacrificing herself. She even closes her eyes at the end. She probably knew what overloading the gun would do 😢
I don't think that the look of ambessa before the warcry was toward caitlyn... It was because her right hand, Rictus, the giant dude being destroyer by Vander >
Thanks for the reaction like always. Still only 3 episodes left and will again be without your reactions for such an amazing show. Tbh, hope you will do a pole for what the watch in the future. ^^ Alaso think Ambessa her reaction was two parts one for the betrayal but also because Rictus (the guard) died and what we know he and she were close and he was a big supporter of hers so think it would be a huge blow for her.
Mel is a disappointment to Ambessa, perhaps inspiring using Caytlin and gaining appreciation and forcing Mel to follow example. If it doesn't work, taking a pupil with a name is a win-win bet and perhaps he became fond of her when training her, at all times she projected her memories as if Caytlin were her in the past, a spin off showing Ambessa in that time would be interesting.
At the end of this episode I had cried so much I actually had a headache. While crying in an episode isn't weird for me, crying that much is. hoo boy. And it's not like I didn't know what was coming. The moment Jinx started talking about how much Isha entering her life meant to her I was like 'oooooh crap.'
Also, like, isn't there a gear wheel in almost every scene where Victor and Arcane are involved? I've rewatched s1e3 and after they figure out the HexTech they a gear through the magic core.
Ah yes, the episode after which we all needed therapy! I have been waiting for this reaction since I saw the episode. Arcane's storytelling is on a new high, with everyone's agendas clashing and coming together in interesting ways. The guard's name was Rictus apparently. Whew, we're starting act 3 next week! Ready but not is the name of the game.
First time I watched this episode i didn't watch the end, i stopped at Ambessa yelling, thinking it was done. Then went to talking with people about how cool Isha is gonna be in the upcoming episodes, and ppl looking at me like...d... did you watch the end of episode 6? I go back, and bawl my eyes out lmfao
I like to think this season endswith the family reunited living happily ever after in the commune with Viktor who somehow keeps them safe from everyone else.
I will never forgive this show for Isha 😭
"She's alive" they said....
"Ekko will save her" they said.....
"It's just a show...." they also said

Oh wow I never thought of that, it makes sense since he was clearly still showing restraint by not immediately pouncing them

10:35 I would say RIP magical, spear-wielding Zangief but looks like Vander is ahead of me in that department. 😅😅

"Arcane writers weren't hugged enough as kids, and it shows" :D

And that's the reason I was afraid to watch Act 3. Like, what the hell you do after this episode! It could've ended here.
Another Fantastic Year of Reactions!
I don't think that the look of ambessa before the warcry was toward caitlyn...
It was because her right hand, Rictus, the giant dude being destroyer by Vander >
1:53 After all this time, why is Viktor still wrapped in Jayce's blanket? 😏😏
Love your turtleneck Alycia!

I wonder if ambessa started to see Catlyin as a daughter.

_"The guard's name was Rictus apparently."_ You mean Zangief. 😁😁
6:00 seeing as Cait wipes Vi's spit right across her lips, I'd say they're in cahoots.

I go back, and bawl my eyes out lmfao
I told you. Now you must kep those kleenex next to you for the rest of the season
Nah, it's all light beach episodes until the end!
9:28 I sometimes wish that the episode ended here and not after her sacrifice
I like to think this season endswith the family reunited living happily ever after in the commune with Viktor who somehow keeps them safe from everyone else.
12:23 as blown away as ish-
As always...👍👍👍👍
