We run a lot of toolcats at my work. And the bottom bushing's go bad on the shock so I was thinking about putting new ones in just because of that but like you said Very expensive
I put on new shocks and it didn’t make a difference it still was sitting on bump stops so I returned all shocks and put my old ones back on, contacted bobcat and they said there supposed to sit on bump stops, doesn’t make sense to me, so my advice is save your money
@@bobjohnston4659 I think the original shocks were suspending it up off the bump stops ,however they slowly sagged down to bump stops and the new shocks from bobcat aren’t strong enough to hold up off bump stops
@@OutlawWoodworking Thanks for the info. So you were never able to solve the poor suspension problem? I just purchased a new toolcat And I am researching the issues that I can expect to run into. Based on your interaction with Bobcat, I’m not too happy with your documented resolution. I hope my local dealer will do a better job.
@@bobjohnston4659 yah,i wasnt happy either, my local bobcat dealer showed me a brand new one and it was sitting on the bump stops, good luck, other then that i love the machine

should have greased the ball joints easily to get at
how many hours had you run the toolcat before replacing the shocks? Did you consider replacing the bumpstops at the same time?

Did you figure out why the ride was getting rougher
