- Today we have a Silver DPS who blamed their Doomfist for this game by not swapping, but was that the real issue or were they too focused on the wrong things?

"I know my dps is bad BUT the Doom was worse." Dies 3 times every time Doom dies once and takes a worldwide tour during overtime in 3rd round.
That Torb play was atrocious, and he had the nerve to say his doom lost him the game 😂
Nah, doom was bad. Doom should stay alive, but what is he doing while he stays alive? Usually, nothing.
@@TREVANDTHECREWgaming The doom had more kills than the dps who submitted the vod.
i constantly saw doom getting the first kill in teamfights they might have been the best player on the team 😭
@@TREVANDTHECREWgamingthe doom was constantly opening fights for his team. just because you dont see him doesn't mean he isnt there, if anything that's a sign of a good doom player
12:50 you're on overtime, numbers advantage, have torb ult, during overtime.
YOU LITERALLY WON THE GAME.
That "flank" definitely a reportable offense 😂😂😂
He snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
“what in the scenic route” perfectly sums it up lol
Bro I would have reported for afk behavior 🤣
Only a bottom feeder rank player would be able to take an actually won match and send their team's hopes and dreams into the shadow realm with such consistency as this guy.
I refuse to believe these people watch their replays, see's the tomfoolery they enact and be like 'Yep that's fine, I did nothing wrong here!'
All they do is use to replay to watch there teammates they don’t like “feed”
i did actually watch it back and question my own choices dont know why i flanked
@@katelynnxo4035 I respect that. If your losing it is prolly on you every great player has had to except that fact to grow and get better
A lot of low elo players expect their tank to stand in front of them with a shield and do nothing else.
it’s really weird how dumb low ranks are. i’m in silver so i’m speaking from experience. it’s a shit ton of arrogance with NONE of the skill to back it up. watching emongg and flats made me always introspect before pointing a finger and it’s actually made me better.
The crazy part is that I TRY to play that way when I dip in rank in order to accommodate the bots in metal ranks and they REFUSE to use a shield, yet also whine about "never having a shield" any time space needs to be made.
They're an insufferable breed.
@@StarsetFlight that’s the most frustrating part about playing tank in low rank
@@Milky_Mercy For real. Unfortunately I will try so hard to shield and protect my dps and supports, but when they play death simulator, I still "am not protecting them". Aka they suck. So I usually just end up being more aggro and saying screw shield these days. 🤷🏻♂️
@@palooski227 Doesnt get better in diamond :(
To me it almost feels like he doesn't respect the enemy team, like he goes in and feeds almost as he expects the enemy team to not react. They play almost as if they think they are way better than the enemy team and can get away with over extending
Yes, typical adc mentality.
They play like they're against Bronze enemies
2:15 he blames the Doom and yet takes a 1v5 as his teammates are coming back from spawn 💀💀
Yeah like this is the most atrocious thing ever. Even if you didn't pay attention to the killfeed you know that there are at least two people in point and no teammate around you by using your eyes🤣
Their name is literally Katelynn
Playing like you are the main character. Going on ridiculous flanks will most likely end up with you back in spawn
Average dps player:
Feeds enough to end world hunger... Blames someone else.
He said that he isn’t a DPS player…
@@Sushie55Exactly. not even a dps player but the second he gets on that role he’s gotta look for someone to blame. its like a disease
@@quits_snail7754lmao the plague 😂
@@quits_snail7754 Or you also do it and just don’t realise it. Quit acting like no matter what DPS are annoying. I play DPS but never blame my team for anything. I didn’t even blame my 4-10 Junkrat OTP yesterday.
@@Sushie55it’s just a joke my guy. Fuckin obviously they don’t mean EVERY single DPS, just that it is a common occurrence. There’s lots of normal and kind ones too. I really think you’re taking a pretty harmless joke WAY too seriously for… some reason ???
I love when the overtime music starts and one team just hits every ult at once
If 50%+ of your games have "bad teammates" and you "can't rank up because everyone is feeding" chances are you might be a bad teammate as well.
Once you start questioning yourself and your in-game choices ranking up will be easier, I was hard-stuck in silver until I started looking at my own mistakes.
Hearing Emongg say how many heroes this person played immediately tells me who was at fault here
they should definitely play someone like Cassidy. Low mobility will teach you real quick how bad your positioning is.
welcome to overwatch where no matter what your teammates do everything is the dooms fault
Yes. Focus on yourself and stop being b. It doesn't matter if you are right. You have zero control over them, but you do have control over yourself.
@@jrpgnation6375 I fat fingered this I meant to say everything is the dooms fault. But you're 100% right look inward and be the best you can be and stop blaming others
A decent Doom on the team is always appreciated. The chaos and confusion they cause makes teamfights easier imo
As a new player a good doom and ball pizz me off to the max
@@OsheaDennis y3ah tough to play against for sure but awesome if they are on your team
This guy switches characters more often than people in Mystery Heroes.
- and blames their tank for not switching. Seems like projection overload
The torb out sniping the widow is my favorite thing to do as him and I know it only works because I’m bad at the game
They had Torb ult in Overtime, with a numbers advangtage since the other team had 2 down. And they decide to flank and let them regroup....tf did I just watch
the poor Doom getting flamed for no reason. I hate this world sometimes
Blaming your team is so pointless you can only change your own game play. Always look at it as "how can I help my team better?". You'd be surprised how often peeling for a teammate a little more can change a loss to a win.
if you have a feeding lucio, just feed with him. if multiple people do it it isn't feeding anymore it's a proper dive. people just refuse to play around each other in ranked it's really frustrating. like yeah you could complain about the mercy one trick but you could also at least go ashe or something to give yourself a bit of a chance
@@boinqity4621 Yep this times 100. Had a soldier that kept feeding on the worst flanks possible lost first round. Switched to Lucio and helped speed him in and out with heals to keep him up and we took the next two rounds. Doesn't always work but at least you can say you tried.
Bro I didn't even see what your tank was doing cus you were off on scenic Narnia detours 24/7 how tf did you even get the idea your tank was playing bad when you had no idea how they were playing in the first place??
This is something I always try to work on, cause im.someone who can get frustrated easily, sometimes it seems a bit warranted(a thrower or someone whose CLEARKY underperrorming badly) but like 99% of the times it isnt
I think it's important to remember you're allowed to feel frustrated! there's a difference between a feeling and how you choose to react based on that feeling. we all feel frustrated sometimes, it's inevitable when playing a team game, but what really matters is what you choose to do after you finish feeling frustrated.
do you choose to ignore your own performance? do you choose to look outside of yourself for the solution to an in-game problem? or do you instead think about what you could and maybe should have done differently or better in order to prevent or address the problem? do you adapt to the team you have or play only one way and expect your team to do what you think they should do?
these are rhetorical questions! I'm not asking you specifically. I'm just using them to show how important our reactions and actions are and how a person can feel one way but do something different :)
It’s great that you recognize that! That’s already a huge step to improving, is to be aware of a flaw. 😊 good luck!! 👍🏻
Way too focused on using Hack as Sombra. Virus is where the power is. They hard threw the game with that weird torb flank. They just straight up saw a winnable fight, said "Nah, I'm good" and LEFT to go on a world tour. Then they did what they do best: put themselves in a dangerous position with no way of escaping or living. I honestly would've reported this person for gameplay sabotage. Really surprised they submitted this to be reviewed but I hope it helps them realize they need to really cut out the constant high risk low reward plays they're doing. Their aim was actually surprisingly good for their rank. They just need to stop trying to do everything themselves.
always love it when players who know nothing about tank just assume their doom/ball are are throwing because they arent standing there being their personal shield bot
They lost this game. The weird Torb flank at the end... they won that fight and the game if they didn't do that silly flank. Mechanics wise, they should be able to get up to plat easily, but just lots of bad positioning and bonehead plays.
Yeah that torb flank hard threw the game. I was shocked. That was so winnable but they managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory kinda single-handedly.
High rank players try to turn lost fights into winnable ones. Low rank players consistently manage to turn won fights into losable ones. Duality of nature
I think that friend needs to see other people
I mean if you play sombra, especially in the beginning of a match then you dont deserve to get out of the lower ranks.
This was definitely the doom's fault how dare he pop off and not hold our main characters hand all game? He shouldve been feeding with them
The doom looked fine to me. They looked like they knew what they were doing seeing them engage then back off. Sometimes it looked like he was a little passive for a doom but I can’t be sure sense I wasn’t seeing his pov.
I keep going from bronze 1 to bronze 3 back to bronze 1 like an eternal limbo haha. I actually find it very funny
I hope the person who submitted this nonsense sees this video and realizing that this loss was mostly their fault ESPECIALLY the end. This was certainly a game of overwatch
7 deaths 1st round
4 deaths 2nd round
4 deaths 3rd round
2 deaths 4th round
For a total of 17 deaths. The feeding during the first round was crazy, luckily it got better, but still... most of his deaths came from flanks or enganging the team by himself, or both.
Don't hold the button on torbs ult. Shoot each glob individually. More area control and slowing down lets you mess them as they react to the initial globs.
ALRIGHT SO!
In today's video
we're watching a silver 1 DPS on PC
Paying mystery heroes
@@damienperry5828😂😂
they say "this game was pretty tough and I'm aware I played really badly at times"
3 minutes in and this guy hasn't stopped attempting to breach their spawn door.
Yeah, totally doomfist's fault.
Edit: of course his duo is moira
Watching a match, not knowing if they won or lost, but still seeing the point of no return a round early before the final fight-is like so funny to me.
Why are they so drawn to throwing themselves straight into/at the enemy team 😂 its like the magnetic pull of the cart but the enemy team instead lol. If they stop jumping in and running it down main at them by themselves they would see way better games for sure
How to improve on dps:
1. Cover teammates
2.Apply pressure
3. Any fight you can't win regroup
Average tank blamer
I refuse to believe this is silver
Bro got mad cuz i told him to switch to spiderman in the new marvel game lmao.
no way this silver, if this really silver it'll be top 3 the worse one so far i see as some one pick dps.
Bro had his team in 4v6
"it's my Doom!1!1!!" your Doomfist didn't try to 1v5 a team fight while everyone else is on their way BACK from spawn. i don't get how they watched their gameplay and said "BUT MY DOOMFIST-"
Wth thats me!!! I think? both my username and skin. Also I do remember a game on kings row that I got flamed in for throwing I admittedly played badly in this game but at that time and now I don’t think I threw. Im also plat tank now so it’s going better
I definetly see the things I do wrong in this game now (if it is me) that I didnt think I did wrong earlier but the climb is still going
It doesnt get worse when 2 people in the team, who are in the wrong, gang up on the one person whos right lol
The last time i was this early, i lost the kids, the house, and half my assets.
Absolutely everyone can get better, but so many games are out of your hands, it’s unreal. DPS is so easy to carry because it makes no difference how your team plays - you can just get picks
the games that are genuinely out of your control are much fewer than you think. and even the games that are -- they're outliers. why bother worrying about them? focus on the games where you playing 5% better or making one more impactful play or falling back when you need to is the difference between a win and a loss.
how no one in chat or in the comments mentioned that she tried the exact same jump that she failed multiple times as soldier AGAIN at 17:42 but this time on junkrat and still missed it is so funny, bless u katelynnxo i love the perseverance
I don't get why people act like this in silver, and bronze. To be honest no one played amazing but no one plays amazing in that rank, the fights are so winnable in an individual perspective that its just insane to me that a silver player does not just focus on themselves as the games look so winnable in my eyes even despite no matter what your teammates are doing or playing because the enemy team is equally as bad.
Why the hell can Moira fade out of an ultimate? My god lol
I’m glad the comments are almost as mean as they should be.
The only this player is serving, is buffet for the enemy team
You could feed a smaller african country with this amount of feeding 😮 You really need to learn to fear for your life 😂
Yo question , Uhmm Where is the mythic shop?
Mythic skins are broken right now so they disabled them.
at the end of the day there is a human behind each player. the chance that they're a OWL pro is .. slim
Wow..uh
Dps stay blaming tank lolol dude prlly had 20+ deaths
It wasnt the Doom bud it was all you. The torb ult at choke shouldve been it but you decided to flank(? For what?) and threw. Please stop self-tilting and blaming it on another player when you yourself have no skill to determine what to do in team fights.
Is it just me or does his tracking dramatically improve when he switches to soldier? Like suspiciously better considering this is silver.
your aim accuracy can sometimes differ on every hero you play, like you could be good at aiming on zen but struggle with kiriko despite both being projectile. i don’t think there’s anything suspicious
Soldiers honestly one of the easiest to aim with imo hits can wise
This guy probably plays call of duty or some shit where team play is almost a non-factor but tracking is required.
Hinders better than pulse, idc what anyone says
This person kept making the same mistake over, and over, and over, and over again.
Doomfist and sombra in silver.. thats a gg... if im on that team just add a forefit button
Also, are these troll videos?? Surely your watching the game back before uploading and realizing your feeding
getting slandered by chat was the best thing ever XD i will work on my gameplay :3
I understand that you are upset that the doomfist insulted you, but you honestly earned it. If you're reading this do me a favor: Watch this replay again from the perspective of the enemy team and watch your engages through the mind of a DPS player on the other team. If you're watching yourself play in the middle of open space far away from physical cover it might click when you go, "Oh man, that Venture is so killable right now!" 2 seconds before you fall over dead. Or maybe think about it from a support perspective. You said you have 200 hours on mercy. As a support player how often do you go, "Boy, I wish this Junkrat would just stand behind a wall for like a whole 3 seconds so I could heal him up to full before he goes back into the fight. I can't save someone who is engaging with 45hp and a dream on a hero with no defensive abilities."
Best of luck on the grind and try not to argue with your teammates if you can, lol. It's hard to stop the toxicity while participating in it.
@@MrZebanHaialso to add onto this, I'd highly recommend finding a few heroes (like 2-3) that you like and try to stick to them unless you really don't want to, it makes improving much easier in the long term for 99% of people
As a doom main I know how it feels to be killing it on doom but having to be told to switch when you're doing your best. Being a tank is hard and being a doom is harder cut us some slack if we have bad attitudes
Remove text chat from overwatch
I agree with this, seems like people want to type instead of using their mic to talk it’s quite irritating
@themando2700 same thought process here, and I think letting people hide behind text allows them to be way more toxic.
This is definitely a take
I've played a long time, I'm self aware enough to exactly when and why I screwed up...that said, 95% of the time its my teams fault. Bc I know when they screw up too. I see it and you guys do too. You can almost tell by how they move before the round even starts. When you have dps taking dmg bc they wanna go main, not even peekaboo, you heal them up but THEY STILL STAND IN TRAFFIC LIKE THEY'RE NOT GETTING C*CKSLAPPED. Or you play tank, give them all the space they need to raise a family of four, but they still can't walk forward? You can ping or make call outs and it just gets ignored
I had a game I played like that the other day. I think my tank was a new player. I was playing 3rd point BlizzWorld as Tracer and harassing their backline and saw Roadhog walk towards the mega on the bridge so I pinged him 2-3 times. Our Rein just stood on cart (not even shield up) and watched the roadhog hook him down the pit. Sometimes you feel like you can see the future and are helpless to change the outcome...
No man, ironically it's literally the opposite way around where 95% of games are under your control, granted that's assuming you're smurfing on them so realistically if I were to throw out an arbitrary number for an improving player who will be a bit better than their rank, I'd put them at mid high 50% - low 60% wr, which does mean yes... it will take a decent amount of games to rank up. The grind is just part of the climb for most people assuming they're not improving at an alarming rate
A lot of games are just way out of my control. So many steam rolls it’s ridiculous. I just report my entire team for gameplay sabotage if it’s a loss, because it’s never my fault 😂
The deranking and or smurfing on alt accounts is also ruining the lower ranks, its stale af.
