HEC Paris Graduation 2024: Dean Éloïc Peyrache adressing Grande école / Master and PhD Class of 2024

🎓 🕊 🌐 Do we want to choose sides or live side by side?
Since Éloïc Peyrache took the helm at HEC, he has been driven by one ambition: to reaffirm the school's societal role.
His 2024 commencement speech to graduates of the grande école, masters, and PhD illustrates this commitment more than ever because tomorrow it will be up to new graduates to carry it forward.
The Dean emphasized that in a world more polarized than ever, our role as an academic institution was :
💡 to produce knowledge and disseminate it, in the "pursuit of truth, objectivity and impartiality";
💡 to promote critical thinking by examining major issues from all angles;
💡 to promote academic exchange that open hearts.
He urged students to resist the fragmentation of the world, on our campus and within our community of 80,000 graduates worldwide.
"Let us dare choose the side by side and be ambassadors of the richness of diversity to promote peace and depolarization."
