Randy taking the money he got from sega and using it for borderlands 2 is something I would say is a good thing, but also it ruins their "rep" which would make any other companies have a lack of trust
RIP S&S Munitions. Gone but never forgotten. I'm a massive fan of the first game and Tales, and I'm alright with TPS and 2 even though I'm not at all happy with the directions the manufacturers went in, but The Fight for Sanctuary DLC, 3, and New Tales all just feel like a kick to the face. The manufacturer changes already hurt a little but character assassinations and overall pisspoor stories just make it hurt so much more.
What specifically about fights story did u hate, Lilith is kinda meh on it but that’s all I remember people even remotely criticizing

I honestly believe Pitchford is the root cause of the decline of the series. Obviously, I can't prove it, but I suspect that after BL2, he got a massive ego boost and stopped listening to both the fans and staff, inserting his cringe badass humor producing BL3 and NTftB.
If he were to step down or step back, I suspect the series would get back on track.

Don't forget that Gearbox is now part of the Embracer Group, which laid off a ton of employees and "restructured" a chunk of the studios and pipelines. Pitchford probably knows he could be on a thin line if the game fails...

Yeah, but he's the sole reason why Borderlands isn't doing what other companies like Activision or EA are doing to their own game, and that's shoving pay to win micro transactions. Borderlands 3 and Wonderlands had no micro transactions. DLCs and Season Pass were better than having to pay over and over again that just never ended. I bet if somebody else took over Randy Pitchford position, Borderlands would be in some serious turmoil cause somebody else would've shoved pay to win Micro transactions into Borderlands and then people would get Furious about it.
In return, we are sold the same product over and over again! Game of the Year Editions, Handsome Collections, Triple Packs, Legendary Collections, Remastered Editions, Compilations... and the upcoming Pandora's Box!!!

I don’t know the ins and outs here but if the employees signed up for profit sharing, then yeah they get what they asked for. It’s pseudo-socialism which happens to be all the rage. So when a game tanks, you don’t make much. OR you get paid what you get paid regardless of if a game does poorly or amazingly. The owner and Investors take all the risk.

I think he’s more “wealthy activist” now than being a talented/hungry leader. Maybe he’s tanking the new games on purpose somehow to avoid paying bonuses. Whatever it is, somebody(total 🤡) is calling the shots on narrative decisions. The ip is cooked imho because “activist type creatives” have zero concept of balance. It clouds and pollutes concepts that otherwise could be done with class. I’ll give him credit for assembling a dream team but he also tore them apart when chasing Battleborn. Sadly , nothing lasts forever. TLDR- Randy now has the forever “F*ck You Money” which will enable him to gleefully make horrible decisions as he simply doesn’t care about quality writing etc. We can see that his heart is black with how that dirt bag & his goon squad bosses at 2k cancelled a bdl superfan In supmatto. I see foresee RP continually trying to crash the brand

I *knew* there was something off about Claptrap's voice. I thought it was just that the actor aged up. Here's a video idea for you: Use AI voice generation to reply a few scenes with Claptrap's old voice. Also do the same with the other characters to make an abridged series that makes Ava and the Twins actually likable.
Yeah Its a Shame David couldn't return as claptrap, ill miss him in the franchise, and that's something I'll deffo have to implement into a video in the future thanks for the idea!
