    What is the reason for being so low to the ground?

      Scribing is put low because it can still be found as evidence after the tree is cut :]

    Are you using the Great Lakes Timber Scribe? We use them in the sierras but not like that, I would appreciate more information on how you’re using that to scribe the trees.
