Really liking the Whiskers name. It fits that beast of a machine.
Can hardly wait for the whiskers rebuild series! Whiskers needs some love! Great rescue video today!
Will a Holly Sniper work with Wiskera?
It warms my heart everyone was out getting stuck. Cody's comment about stuff to do in the country is spot-on.
With all due respect. The boss is so cute sometimes, she puts a smile on my face like her kids do. Saludos desde Guatemala.
Robbys energy in this one is just amazing
Happy Birthday Kelan!
Uncle Robbie to the rescue. Remember this: you will never forget your 17th birthday.
A Snowcat and a bungee cord makes for a great snow recovery vehicle. Of course a super sweet / cute "Boss" lady on the job never hurts as well! Cheers Team Layton ..... keep er coming. LOL, my wife commented how pretty Mrs Layton is and then I pointed out Mr Layton and she replied "what is she doing with him"? Sorry Robby but you already knew you hit the jackpot with Demri, didn't you?
Whiskers has paid for itself tenfold... almost can't wait until spring snow melt. So you can start rebuilding her. The ideas are endless for sure... so ir is going to be fun to see how creative you are with it. As always looking forward to seeing what's next. Always enjoy watching you and your team. 😎👍
That's if he charges for them
@@monkeybusiness63 irregardless of his policies and how and if he charges. That's his business and his policies. My statement is a general analogy. That the ability of the vehicle to provide the services it has. Along with the recreational enjoyment. Not to mention the social team building within the crew he has the shop. All things combined have "paid for"... or proven that the acquiring the vehicle. Was a great choice and it is going to be fun. To see how he applies his creative skills and professional skills to rebuild and modify it as a future project . Once the snow melts or whenever, if at all. As to his policies on or in regards to charging for the retrieval work. That's not my concern nor would I expect to be in the context of the videos he posts. I am sure that based on the success of his business. This channel and the various projects he has shown. He is deservedly doing very well and his notoriety is only going to continue to grow. To see how well the team he has assembled work together. The quality of the work he and his team do. Should be an example of how to lead and manage a business in every business management course. You can clearly see the passion, professionalism and quality in every video and project. Combined to create an outstanding team.
@@monkeybusiness63 He gets much more from the UA-cam views and sponsorships it creates than he would from charging customers.
Whiskers is a very impressive machine. It has way more pulling power then I imagined. Handled that Ram 2500 pretty easily and that's close to a 7K pound truck. Kelan is lucky to have an awesome uncle to come help him out.
Yeah, I was quite surprised how easily it pulls, barely bogs down, good machine and we know Robby will look after it.
Whiskers is awesome and deserves a decent paint job and working mechanicals.
Well done! I think Whisker’s deserves a nice paint job with a Robby Layton badge!
Snow cats are old but I have never seen videos of their capabilities. Great watching them work.
I'm encouraged to see that Hillbilly had warm clothing plus hat & gloves. Better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.
Good old Whiskers does it again. You have to give that little kitty some love.
That thing is a beast! If you fix it up enough to be reliable it will be fantastic.
Whiskers is proving her worth‼️🥶❄️🌬️💯
You guys are having a blast with Whiskers, keep up the good work.
First. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Second. Whiskers is a great snow cat. You really shouldn't have to give it much to get someone out because of the tracks. Like having a little tank. You know. Very cool.
Years ago I had a pickup with the Ford 300 in it. Good little motor but for some reason it went through gasoline lift pumps. A friend of mine recommended using the primer bulb off of my gas tank in my boat. So I tried it and it worked like a charm.
Who knew you would need that much space!!? Everyone in back was having such a great time!
Good to see Cody out there having fun!
Great recoverys you guys !!..... always a pleasure watching you guys !!.... great shot & editing 👌
I miss my 84 K5 blazer! It could go through anything.. left on friend's property in Strasburg, VA when I moved and was later told that it was stolen.
I loved wrenching on it. Replaced the hood and fenders with a Hummer tilt front clip. Cut out all the rust and welded in new panels. Added 1 ton diffs, roll bar, nerf bars, grille guard. Replaced 305 with 350. Added 3" body lift and in true poor boy fashion, added military camo paint job because I lacked Bobby's skills.
I still dream about that truck. Hard loss. Still have the title and keys.
Man, I love the Sno Cat! Great work Robby and crew!
Whiskers is getting a lot of use. That`s cool.
Whiskers is earning its keep. Work and content!
I love the new vehicle for snow recoveries BUT I'd suggest you get a diesel Heater, they are like $120-180 and it will keep your windows defrosted and you all real warm..I use them to heat my 30 foot RV!..Keep them videos coming!
Whiskers is perfect for that job.
🌏🇭🇲
Kelan has great taste. A GMC Sierra and that “A” on his cap is a football dynasty. 👍🏻
Whiskers is one cool vehicle! If I had one when I was a kid I would be driving it whenever there was a lot of snow. I bet it would plow well also.
Get you one of those Chinese diesel heaters for "Whiskers" to help keep your windshield clear..and it could keep the inside warm even when the engine isn't running. (doubling as emergency heat)
Very nice recovery Robby and the guys. Can’t wait for more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. Keep recovering. God Bless.
Love whiskers! I’m sure you have plans to build that thing up this summer. That would be epic! Thanks for sharing!
Good to see Cody...I was worried for a minute that Cody won the lottery and disappeared... LoL
Loved this video….I hate being stuck anywhere, anytime. So I always fill up on fuel..
That blazer is sweeeeet!! Nothing like the oldies.
Helpful hint - make a lock to hold the door on Whiskers open, cause when you have it back and turn downhill it's automatic to brace your hand on the door opening and then the door swings forward and, OWWW! Yes, lesson from painful experience!
Robby you should talk to Paul at Fab Rats. He can probably help you out with that transfer case. God bless
if you put a small fan on the window of wiskers it will keep your windshield clear. Frank
Your nephew and his girlfriend were totally driving up the mountain to have a birthday make-out session! They got stuck and had to call Uncle Robby. How embarrassing. At least they could keep each other warm while they waited. :-)
A diesel heater might be beneficial to keep cab warm and windows clear and it's always nice to have back up heat
Whiskers is awesome. I'm so glad I don't live where it's super cold and wintry anymore!!
Great video and great job with the recovering God bless from GA and stay safe
That's an amazing first truck Holy moly 😍 Robby's nephew is one lucky kid!!
I like that K5.
Was that a little Karma we saw talking about your nephew being a nincompoop getting stuck and the the Freightliner gets stuck, but really this was more awesomeness by Robbie making recoveries a good time✌
Add an electric heater (Might need a bigger alternator) and a fan that blows directly on the driver's side of the windshield to keep it drier.
Or, try polishing it with a little liquid dish detergent.
Your nephew is a smart kid, it looks like he has on an Alabama hat. Roll tide from Albertville, Al!!
It looks like Kitty is worth her weight in rocking horse poop, you guys need to schedule a full on project to make her an awesome recovery vehicle 👍
0:40 I think snacks need to be referred to rations when out on a recovery because you never know what will happen.
Scanned a few comments and didn't see it, so I'll go ahead and say it. Robbie says, "17 years old out doing dumb kid stuff" or something along those lines. Robbie........you guys are still doing dumb kid stuff. Luckily, you have Demri with y'all to keep it under control! Lol. Please do not read the wrong message I am saying here. Love all your video's and glad you all can go out and have a good time while presenting great content. Stay safe and see you on the next one.
It looks like the Layton recovery team is on the job. Good job.
That k5 is awesome
Robby: "What were you doing up here?"
Me: Robby.
Do you NOT see his passenger?
17, and pullin' some fine trim!
Whiskas has some serious traction!
Robby has such a good attitude!
Great footage and recovery... great uncle to boot .
That CAT is awesome...nice work with fun thrown in.
Like I once advised Matt, no nee to put decimals when giving the Celcius temperature: we don't make any difference between -1C and -1.11C :)
I just saw that and had to rewind. They must have some super precise thermometers over in Utah if they can measure 1/100th of a degree. :)
Good thing you came about Wiskers
For the snow Kitty you can get Rain-X anti fog interior treatment that will help the foggy ness
I like your nephews hat! Roll Tide!!!
Well......Your nephew's hat says it all......Exactly what I would expect out of an Alabama fan!!
This is great.. love the deer avenger game music in the background
Hiya Robbie, sorry about the negative thought, but I dig your channel so much I can't help myself. I think you are buying way too many toys/projects. When you all started tearing down that burned out jeep (I call it the BBQ Jeep) I really set my heart on that one. I have about 500 ideas I wanted to offer to y'all, but alas the Jeep seems to have fallen off a cliff. Here's my tale of woe. I'm 75 years old, I live in Thailand with my wife, I do have a pot to piss in but that's about all. That basically means I have to live out my fantasies through the misadventures and hijinks of folks like you and your gang. I can't tell you how much I admire your enthusiasm, your gung-ho drive, your immense skills and your passion for perfection. Unfortunately your excitement for new toys is driving me a tad crazy. All this is to say that I love you and your pirates for all the fun you have offered me. I hope you keep on truckin' 'n' smilin' for a very long time. Give your babies a big kiss for me.
Big trucks used a small fan to keep the windshield clear on the inside. Try it. If it has a heater, duct some hose towards the windows.
I use a fan in my 1968 VW van as a defroster worked great
Good job whiskers I new you could do it stay safe it cold out there Siloam Springs Arkansas its cold here 27 no snow
Whiskers is the best thing you ever bought that thing is so awesome
I really like what you've done with the office. That ceiling paint is so lifelike!
Seriously, watching your videos in 4k is like being out in the snow.
Great video, guys! Your nephew had just the perfect amount of embarrassment mixed with gratitude. And his girlfriend looked like she got a kick out of the whole thing, too. 👍
Amazing ! Just imagine if those guy's did not know how to drive in snow !
Speaking of "wood maker", how's Demeri's table coming along? I'd like to see that video.
You guys really enjoy your work and are good at it. Great video.
If it weren't for the cold part, the playing in the snow looked pretty fun.Hope the rest of your Birthday was fun Kellan.
Awesome job y'all !!!!!!
Excellent job and video Robby Happy Birthday 🎈🎂🎈 Collin
thanks Robby that was a fun video.
Man Whiskers don't play!! Every pull was child's play. Fun video guys.
Whiskers is a pulling machine
What a fun vid, just saw Robby at Maverik!
Love your channel I like how you are always doing something different great content
Nice Job! Bravo!
yay, more SnowCat!
12 minute's ago the vid is released and idky but I'm glad I caught it before my day in the shop, great vibes guys!!!
Love seeing that Bama hat repped on the west coast. RTR!!!!
great video I always put the chains on the rear if you get stuck you can back up when they are on the front it pulls you in
Dude! Whiskers looks awesome! I almost want to get stuck to have you guys come get me out...but I live a couple hours away! I should just come and visit!
I hope to see a whiskers resto series of videos! Its screaming for a makeover!
Good job Robbie cat.
I think you guys need to put a hot chocolate dispenser in that snow kitties. But one more thing teach the boss to drive it.🤞🏽👏🏽🤙🏾👌🏽🖐🏽✋🏽💪🏽🙏🏽🙋🏽♂️😊😎😁
Hurray! Its down! Great video
Just wanted to say Hello and hope you have a wonderful day.
That was fun!
5:09 - that's what you should be doing when pulling a being recovered vehicle. Not having the customer hammer on it which causes running over the ropes and that time the chevy damn near rear ended the snow cat. When you're pulling them, you're pulling them, and they're barely on the gas if even at all lol
Robby your nephew is a good and smart kid i can tell he was wearing a Alabama hat
Love the snow recoveries!
Whiskers is one tuff cat
Thanks for another entertaining video.
Big dinner looks so sad today what's up? Take him on a recovery!
Loved this video so much
