Riz Khan Show: Israeli Hostage Relative Calls On Hamas To Accept Ceasefire Proposal

- This week both the fate of Palestinian civilians and Israeli hostages in Gaza, are being discussed, debated, and determined around negotiating tables from the US to Israel and Qatar to Egypt.
Meanwhile in New York, the UN Security Council passed its first ceasefire resolution since the war began in October.
On this week’s episode, Al Arabiya English’s Riz Khan sat down with Moshe Lavi whose brother-in-law, Omri Miran, was taken from his family by Hamas militants at their Kibbutz, Nahal Oz, on October 7th.

I am an American citizen and as a nurse I have compassion and empathy for all of the patients that I care for. I would never treat anyone differently due to any beliefs or race, I do everything I can to help save lives without discrimination. I have friends from many different cultures and countries , it’s funny that the Arabic friends would always say how they were cousins to the Jewish people and they never verbalized hatred towards them. They were very heartbroken with how the state of Israel treated the Palestinians, I would never say they were anti semetic , in fact they have more in common than they did differences.
This being said I have been truly shocked to my core when I heard how the Israeli x settlers and even the government spewed vile hatred towards the Palestinians and want to exterminate every one of them.
I wish there were more interviews like this one, hatred will never end up peaceful….

Amazing conversation
I really hope that this man was a humanitarian during his service in the military and not like what the world has seen from the current military because it’s truly horrific and sickening. You can never achieve peace with this kind of brutality. In defense of the protesters in the USA, the media are not reporting this as it really is happening. The protesters just don’t want the killing of innocent people including the hostages! They can not understand how Israel is bombing the very place where the hostages are being held! Also they are disturbed by seeing children being slaughtered every day and the settlers are so full of hatred and blocking the aid, this hurts the hostages too! It’s heartbreaking and hard to understand the rationale for this.
Again I pray for your loved one and hope he is safe and comes home safely to his wife and children.
We are all humans and we bleed the same, we have the same human emotions and none of us get off of this planet alive in the end. The precious short time we have on this earth shouldn’t be wasted on hatred and vengeance. No one human being is superior to another… we can all learn from each other and be kind to one another.
If you would see the interviews from people who have been in Gaza you would understand that many of the people in Gaza were not happy with Hamas because they felt that they were stifling their culture and forcing religious practices on the gazans.
