You answered your own question at the end. Pay way more per month and go through the hassle of moving in NYC to a place with a lesser view or knock down a wall and stay where you are for $2500/mo. No brainer.

I guess Gabe is moving out for some reason. So if that's the case, I'd stay where you are. It's a really nice space.

Stay where you are. To me having Windows and natural Sunlight is my most important thing that I'd look for if I were looking for an apartment. Sunlight means less use of electricity in the daytime and warmth in the Wintertime. Plus you can't beat the city view. If you do move, the last apartment you showcased would be my definite choice mainly because of the windows and the views.

Brett: stay where you are, take down the wall and keep it simple. Have Haley help you redecorate, a woman’s touch makes all the difference in good presentation of spaces.
That place is a gem.. don’t give it up! Other places couldn’t compare to the views and natural light and were way more $.

I would say to knock down the wall of where you live and stay where you're at. Is Gabe moving out? And will your rent remain the same amount if you renew your lease? If yes, then stay. If it will increase, find out by how much, and you might still be able to stay.I'm glad that Cash did the sink-sprayer thing. Lol
Staying in your current spot is the easy choice from these options. But I’m guessing that $2500 price tag is going to be higher just based on the market. If you are new to NYC real estate, they can make drastic price changes between leases
The last apartment choice was so nice! I loved the balcony. It looks like a great choice; however, your current situation is kinda of a gold mine especially if you know down that flex wall!

I live on a park block and having Central Park as a backyard for my dog is everything, but if I were you I wouldn’t give up the double balconies that you have. Especially at 2500!

stay where you are... its absolutely beautiful.. you already know the area, the neighbours... and you're used to the property already..... that view for the price is phenomenal.... I absolutely loved it when you first moved in and I feel like it's the best option..... no need to go searching when you already have everything you need knock down that wall
Stay there and take the wall down, live it solo for another year and then figure it out. Its basically a new place living alone a that much floor space.

I'm graduating soon and desperately want to stay in downtown if I can afford it. I know the feeling. If you already happy with the area for the apt just stay. Honestly having that much natural light and an actually living room is insane. Add a comfy couch to fill the space and enjoy the sun.

The view at your apartment is super unique and now special to your videos. I would stay just for that reason. Adding the fact it would be cheaper and you don't need(or would use) a bigger kitchen I think the current apartment is better.
Stay put and make the apartment you are in right for you. New York is awesome and I have loved it every time I have visited from the UK 👍

The price difference from there to central texas, is insane! I live in a 3,300sq ft single home, on 4 acres and pay just over $1K a month to own. Love the channel, stay safe out there Brett🤙
Me too. 3000sq ft nice home in suburban Minneapolis. Lots of trees, hiking. 3 car garage. Great shopping and schools.

Most of the other apartments were for couples and small families, the rest were just way to tiny.

Stay where you are living currently. Though , I would keep wall up and make second bedroom as your office/UA-cam work room with convertible sofa bed if needed by visiting guest. Plus , this room can be used as extra separated entertaining space for cozier and quieter talking area on convertible sofa with side chair as well as be use for office/guest room. I do love multiple purpose rooms. 😘

Deffo stay where you are, can do so so much with the space when you knock down the wall and the view and natural light was by far the best.
I would stay in your current apartment. That’s really spacious without the wall and for 2500 a month that is a steal. Plus you don’t have to move.
Also, you could leave wall up and turn entry/kitchen area in a dining space; the bedroom without the closet into a living room and still have 1 bedroom. That way, you have some separation and private areas versus totally open. Just a thought! Definitely would stay in your current location!!

Stay where you're at. Like you said, it has everything you want and, moving is a nightmare! As for the wall you might want to keep it. It would give you more options if things change down the road.

That’s an easy one. Your current place is way better than any of the one’s you saw. Huge windows, two balconies and that view of the Empire State Building.

Last apartment was a good deal in case you wouldn't have your current one
Maybe the reason that you are looking for an apartments is more space not just a view if you have some plans or something like that
But I also would suggest to keep hunting little bit more and if you have a good luck you may come across to an apartment with a great view and more space

Definitely stay unless the area you’re in isn’t a good fit for your lifestyle! You’re not gaining anything in any of the other locations that you don’t already have now plus if the wall comes down you could add a moveable island to make more kitchen counter space!

If the size of the kitchen doesn't bother you, then stay! You'll have all the space you need and don't seem to have a complaint with the neighbourhood or the building, and you've made lots of improvements to the space now too.
