Na, you watch, there are still institutions like Porsche as an example, that not only are intrinsically linked to sports car racing, but they are spending big money on developing emission neutral fuels for combustion engines so they can continue racing at the least. This is already happening and not just an idea either. There will always be diehards and traditionalists that won’t be satisfied without everything that comes with combustion engines and racing them. I couldn’t imagine a company like Ferrari wanting to make EVs only.

cmon guys use common sense in the menu the cars only rev in closed garage or warehouses while in game there is open surrounding and accelerating so of course the sound is different. on youtube all the best sounding cars sounds different between rev and acceleration
Gran turismo will always be the best. The last Gran turismo I've played was 5 & 6. A while ago i upgraded from Xbox one to series x, because i have alot of Xbox game discs and also on my account But i will buy a PS4 just to play GT7

Most of the cars sound so generic. For example Castrol Supra, it has some common 4 cylinder sound and that's all. Compressed as hell, lifeless, robotic. In real life that Supra sounds way different. I was so excited for GT7 release hoping that they would make a huge step forward in a sound design but actually they have done zero work since GT Sport. @@Eric-Wall the mustangs in general were very poor in this game only one i liked was the 69 boss but it´s top speed was terrible. and the camaro ZL1 had absolutely terrible performance not even the racing soft tyres could handle it´s power you even need to nerf it to get half decent performance

Gran Turismo’s sounds are just too tame and polished. It doesn’t capture the rawness of an engine like other games do. For example the Sauber C9. It’s way too smooth, it sounds brutal in real life. GT7 is one of the best race games, BUT sound of the engines is far from real, collison damage needs to be reviewed cause when you crash in real life its either game over or affects topspeed. Car damage would eliminate divebombers.
