    Thought this would be interesting seeing Walter died in 1960. Actually, it is very interesting and I enjoyed it. But why does it have Walter's name and not Horace's?

      I spent a day with Horace at the Ipswich Queensland show in 1972. WD&HO Wills were promoting a new cigarette Wild Woodbines. I had got to know the cigarette rep Ken Bainbrigge,and he asked me to go to Ipswich and Horace would give me a few lessons in between his trick shot demonstrations.He wanted me to go to Sydney and he would give me lessons, but he died soon after finishing his book .

      @@bartholomewchuzzlewit4356 Yes mate, it was sad that Walter died at the age of 61 and Horace at 62.

      @@LindrumI don't think that Horace would be in the same league as some of the players of today. But I also don't think the players of today in either game would be in Walter's league even though he played very little snooker. His ball control and knowledge of angles was amazing.

    Horace Morrell - changed his name by deed poll to Lindrum - his mother was a Lindrum (sister to Walter)
