The Piano Teacher (2001) trailer - Michael Haneke [unofficial, fan-made]

- Since the only trailer for this film I could find is a dated, cheesy-narrator-spoiling one from the film's national release, I thought it deserved better.
I made this entirely out of my own love for the film. All clips and music were pulled from the film itself, save for the accolades and end source credits. I tried my best to capture the feeling of it without getting too far into spoiling the experience, as many trailers do.

Thank you!
This masterpiece deserved a proper trailer.
What a powerhouse of a movie, simply unforgettable
Thank you, I agree :)
Thank you for making this, it had been paining me for quite some time how corny the original trailer of one of my favorite films was, so now I finally have a better one I can show to people.
Thank you!
Omg so much better than the official one, thank you!
one of my all time fav, the fact you used haneke's cut to silence in his title sequence makes it a better trailer :)
You have done an extraordinary job!
Great trailer!
Thank you very much!
This is awesomee.
Thank you!
I like your trailer better than I like the original
Thank you very much!
Really nice trailer. Thank you for creating it, it is much better than the original!
Thank you so much!
All non virginal males are letch. It is the fall of man to struggle through his life amidst the turmoil his own sexual desire made him be. After his second sexual encounter he can no longer be innocent with woman ever again in his lifetime. It is a bond he has chosen to be forever removed from.
This is a great film with a great cast. Bon chance.
think the issue more is whom and how his encounters went about. it was unhealthy because it was not based on true connection and respect. not that he deserves it but in general sense when it happens for real it will be different. his actions speak louder than his innocence
@Monkeys Mobilize we are not innocent. this is the maintained confusion in mankind. if we recognise this we can live in accordance with what encourages good. all we must do is recognise and acknowledge and we can then make redress for mistakes made generations ago. it is not a difficult acceptance, merely thankful and forgiving.
This movie, if anything, isn't about the downfall of man emerging from his sexual desires.
This is medieval purity at best, the physical and the emotional can be seperated.
