    Great video man! The editing is also so clean, very professional. I would definitely yourself driving on the pedals next time. Give a little bit of racing action at the end of the video. Would be great to see some live reactions spinning around the ring or something lol!😂🎉

    I bought the Ultimate in April, love the Pedal coming from a SimLab XP1. Of course today i would probably go with the pro - because Im using around 70kg force. Until last month I was still using the XP1 Throttle and swiched to the SC passive Throttle. Also an improvement in my opinion. Now they added a harder spring, so if you want a really hard Throttle… you get it. I was also thinking about to go with the Simcore pedal faces, but SC Released in Cooperation with tony kanaan a pedalface for throttle incl rest and for the break which is quite similar to the simcores. Looks really nice - love the setup like it is

    I'm looking forward to the Moza and Simagic versions being released, just to see where they price them.

      I’m equally curious about the hardware technology they’re using and whether it’ll be comparable to Simucube. I’m also interested in the price. I don’t expect it to be as cheap as people hope, but I’m certain it’ll be less than Simucube.

      @simracingden I think Moza may be similar to Simucube, but with Simagic apparently having started development earlier than both they may be a bit different, but I won't hold my breath.

    Great review and video! Are you able to daisy chain the power from the PRO into the Ultimate or do you need 2 Ultimate pedals for that to work? I really think either of these are end game pedals. I think the plan for me is to save for the PRO with the passive throttle/base plate/hub and then upgrade to another active pedal when I have extra $ lol

    • @simracingden
      @simracingden  3 місяці тому

      Thank you! No, the Pro doesn't support daisy chaining; you need 2 Ultimates to do that. That sounds like a good plan. I think the passive throttle and Pro are a great setup!

    Would you say the AP Ultimate or Pro is better as throttle? Trying to decide as can get Ultimate for same price as Pro thanks to Black Friday deal. May seem like a crazy idea to opt for Pro then but if it’s better suited as a throttle in some way, then maybe worth it?

    • @simracingden
      @simracingden  2 місяці тому +1

      If you’re not using more than the pros max force then it’s the clear choice and imo has a better more refined design

    is there any change in less grainy fealing at pro like throtle? do you recomend to go with ultimate brake and pro for throtle as a best combo for 2 set pedals, with use ultimate one power supply (pro can connect through ultimate). Whats is your thoughts?

    • @simracingden
      @simracingden  2 місяці тому +1

      No the pro still feels grainy as throttle but dosent bother me that much when racing just noticeable if your just pushing the pedal.

      @@simracingdenhaving had even more time spent with the pro as a throttle now, are you finding yourself prefer if it over the passive throttle by any chance? Thank you!

      @@DrR1pperIt's a nice-to-have if you frequently make throttle adjustments or anticipate needing to adjust for different cars. However, I personally don't think it's worth the investment over a passive throttle, unless you're you got the extra cash and really value the added adjustability or haptic effects. Another thing to note is that it doesn’t feel as smooth as a passive throttle. While I'm keeping one for my setup since I have two, if it were my money, I’d opt for the Simucube passive throttle as a perfect complement to the AP brake.

      @@simracingden thank you! One last question if I may please, if you’re not using more than the Pro’s maximum force, is there actually a benefit to opt for the Pro over the Ultimates? I know this may seem like a silly question but SC has a Black Friday deal where I can get the Ultimate for the same price as the Pro. But if I’m not going to use more than the Pro’s maximum force, I’m wondering if the Pro is better in some way after you said that it feels like a gen 2 version of the AP. Many thanks again! 🙏

    • @simracingden
      @simracingden  2 місяці тому +1

      @ it’s not better in anyway if you can score an ultimate for the same price I would do it. I said it feels like a gen2 product due in part to the redesign but functionally it’s the same. Sorry if that caused any confusion.

    So glad Simagic is coming out with their active pedal, im beyond tired of Simucube and their elitist price point, they can sell their products for MUCH cheaper but they refuse to not be greedy.

    • @simracingden
      @simracingden  3 місяці тому

      I understand the excitement about Simagic’s active pedal and the anticipation around their pricing strategy-it’s always exciting to see new competition in the market. While I agree that Simucube’s price point can feel restrictive for many, I think it’s worth considering that their pricing often reflects the extensive R&D, quality of components, and continued support they offer. Until Simagic releases more details about their active pedal, it’s tough to say how their offering will compare. Competition like this is great for all of us because it can push prices down over time or drive more innovation. Let’s see how Simagic’s product measures up-it might give Simucube the push they need to rethink their pricing model!

    • @chuckystang
      @chuckystang 2 місяці тому +1

      You are not considering how R&D and profit margins work. They spent a boat load of money on a complete risky investment so its only natural that they need to charge a hefty price initially due to the low volume sold. Economies of scale is not their friend at the moment. Simagic and the like are knock offs at the moment and likely utilizing cheap Chinese manufacturing and in the end you get what you pay for. But Simucube is a leader and innovator, no one else has anything like this available right now, so they will and can charge a steep price.

    Spending this amount of money I just can't be left wondering what if I just spent a few hundred more dollars, would the Ultimate have offered just a little more. For me, the Pro is still too expensive. I'd go ultimate. Also, the pedal pad on the Pro is smooth and looks awful even if it "feels" okay, so I'd be upgrading there and it does not come with the some other required items to run that the Ultimate comes with.

  • @bradpaca

    Yeah do not like products like this because it really takes the balance out of Sim Racing cost. I believe the price to be unrealistic and sim racers should stay clear high dollar products that diminishing low cost sim products.

    • @simracingden
      @simracingden  3 місяці тому

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I get where you’re coming from - cost is definitely a major factor in sim racing, and it’s great that there are affordable options for everyone to get into the hobby. Personally, I think there’s room for both ends of the spectrum. High-end products often push innovation and performance forward, which can eventually help improve and bring down the cost of entry-level gear as well. Plus, for those who want to invest in something that enhances their immersion or precision, those premium options can be worth it. But at the end of the day, it’s all about finding what works best for each individual sim racer.

      @@BMWWolfand not only that, niche cutting edge technology at a high price point initially is how we get it at mainstream price later. Just look at direct drive wheels. We should be grateful for expensive niche innovative products on the market place. Yes it sucks if you can’t afford it but you’ll be grateful later when you can afford the mainstream version that hits the maker because of the expensive first versions that hit the market.
