This video has been up for a week and I JUST realized when talking about the Yak I said "after the Wild Water Buffalo I'd love to see Frontier make another bovine", completely forgetting that the Wisent exists. Woopsies sorry Wisent.
Especially ironic considering the Wisent is literally the first animal shown in the video lmaooo
- South America is probably lacking the most representation, you could easily make a pack:
(Spectacled Bear, Ocelot, Coati, Howler Monkey, Spider Monkey, Rhea, Alpaca, Golden Lion Tamarin, Pygmy Marmoset, Giant Armadillo, Tamandua)
- Africa is probably the best represented continent, you could easily make a pack:
(African Leopard, Honey Badger, Secretary Bird, Baboon, Gelada, Marabou Stork, African Gray Crowned Crane, Kudu, Nile Crocodile, Sifaka, Indri, Aye Aye, Black and White Colobus Monkey)
Other than South America and Africa - I personally want West Indian Manatee, Musk Ox, Elk, Tree Kangaroo, Echidna, Raccoon Dog, Alligator Snapping Turtle.
Exhibits - I want mammals in exhibits - rodents, naked mole rats, hedgehogs, and birds and fish in exhibits like you would see at a real zoo - maybe mesh screens instead of glass - maybe different shaped exhibits and different sized exhibits so anacondas and cockroaches don't have to use the SAME SIZED EXHIBITS - and that way we could have a variety of shapes so EVERY EXHIBIT DOESNT LOOK THE SAME - you could easily make a pack - especially if Frontier finally includes small MAMMAL, small BIRD and small FISH species:
(Emerald Tree Boa, Cuban Solenodon, European Hedgehog, Pygmy Marmoset, Lemming, Green Anaconda, Black Mamba, King Cobra, Frilled Lizard, Tuatara, Weta, Taipan)
ABOVE ALL ELSE MENTIONED:
- Birds (you can easily name 20 species of birds Planet Zoo is missing)
- Aquariums (sharks, fish, whales, dolphins, octopus, starfish, jellyfish, manatees, walrus you could easily name 20 species)
Howler Monkeys and iguanas as habitat animals are ESSENTIAL for South America
We need petting Zoos you can make for children where they can play with non-dangerous animals.
I thought those big exhibits would work great for owls.
Just because they don't move often they make the perfect exhibit bird.
Definitely! I just don't think it's common for owls or other birds of prey to be in walkthrough enclosures. Hopefully Frontier gives us an option to toggle the "walkthrough" part off
@@shaununiverse in Artis Amsterdam they have a walkthrough with burrowing owls.
It's not rare to be able to walk through smaller owl species.
Perhaps they can add a mesh tunnel with owl walkthroughs because that's very common in European zoo's.

I think a kind of hummingbird they should add would be the purple throated woodstar hummingbird, gorgeous little things. Ruby throated hummers are very nice

Love the list, for your last section the biggest reason lorikeets aren’t housed with other parakeets is they have a really unique and specialised diet. Most parrots should eat mostly greens with a little fruit, veg, seed (too much fruit or seed can cause fatty liver disease and is a big reason most pet budgies don’t live the 20+ years they should) etc. but lorikeets need lots of nectar and a higher sugar diet which could be fatal to many other parrot species. Their tongues look insane bc they’ve adapted to gather nectar and pollen, look them up it’s insane
Goootcha...well still, since they fill the same niche I wanted to mention them. They'd probably work better as an alternative to budgies rather than as companions for them.
Idea is great!, good ideas for modders. We probably going to get an end game larger DLC. Maybe make a list for 10 MUST have.
I'm really hoping for a petting zoo dlc for a game named planet zoo it's weird you can't make a petting zoo.

When it comes to choices for walkthrough exhibit flying birds, other alternatives are most species of perching birds and the Inca tern.
the animals i want the most is: the shoebill stork and the walrus and some birds that can fly

I'll always be more excited for a new habitat animal over a standard exhibit animal, but I agree there are a lot of must-have exhibit animals we still need

If we were to get aquatic animals, the manatee would be #2 on my list, behind the baluga whale at #1
I would love to have Roadrunner, Gila Monster, Secretary bird, Tanuki(Raccoon dog), Oriental Pied hornbill, and Diamondback Rattlesnake

I agreed with most of your picks. But parakeets are sooo boring imo 😂 everytime i am at a zoo I kinda avoid them. They are such a common pet where I live that they are not interesting anymore😂

Bruh I wish I was you man I’m the same I’ve watched so many peaple playing planet zoo when it came out but unlike you I still don’t have a pc I have a ps4 but the new trailer for the console edition is only for ps5 I’m 14 so makes sense I don’t have that much money but I’m going to save up hard

Because they're so simple is why I feel like we need them! They're the essentials! I'd still love to see any of the animals you mentioned. They're all just below #40 - birds really took priority on this list.
