Didnt know the minimum focus distance for the iPhone's 5x is that huge. Even the 10x lens on the S23 ultra has a relatively short minimum focus distance of around 60cm.
Vivo is such an impressive year to year. Overall Galaxy S24U and X200p are the best for me. Iphone still have much contrast in photos. Vivo has a much better telephoto lens than others. Vivo needs to improve the main lens to make this consistent as galaxy and apple.
Let's start with the thing that surprised me first, the videography of Vivo's rear camera. Whether it is low light or day light. Skin tone seemed to be handled better in video than in photography. The Portrait iPhone is my favorite in terms of photography,But there are areas where all these give equal results. But Vivo has things that give it a lead there too. I don't know if any other phone camera gives such a detailed output. And low light photography I've watched a lot of comparison videos, and those are all resources for me to learn about . In all of the comparison videos, we have not seen a competitor that has challenged Vivo. For selfies, I prefer the iPhone itself. Vivo is also not bad but Didn't like Samsung's selfie samples. Vivo felt better in low light.
The only thing I can't take from the S24 Ultra and give it to another phone is the selfie camera. The back cameras are almost garbage to me. They lack details as compared to others. I tried the digital 3x zoom of the pixel 9 Pro with the optical 3x zoom on S24 Ultra and the pixel almost looked better than the Ultra 😊😊
Personally, I don't prefer the S24U selfie camera and it's actually probably the worst part of that phone to me. Not surprised about the telephoto since cropping on the larger main sensor makes sense on how it can turn out better. The thing I like about both telephoto cameras on the S24U is the minimum focusing distance is very good and great for macro shots. I just hope they use larger sensors like Vivo.
