It's my birthday today and I decided to finally come back to proper YWA calendar after three months of doing short meditation videos because I "didn't have time" for the longer ones. Quick share to spread some love and hopefully a smile - I usually spend my yoga time with Adriene after I put my 8 month old to bed and before my husband puts my 4 yo to bed and he will come over pause the video and give me a big hug and kiss goodnight before restarting the practise and tonight it happened to be during warrior II pose and he said “you look like a superhero like that mommy!” It made me feel so great and definitely gave more meaning to every bit of tremble and burn I feel during these practices. I’ve been doing yoga with this community now every day for the last 2-3 months and it has made my mind and body feel immensely stronger, better and more flexible and now I kind of feel like a superhero getting through these sessions with a better ability and strength. So thanks and I hope all you superheroes are keeping safe and healthy during covid. Namaste!

I'm always reluctant to do long practices, because I feel intimidated and, let's be honest, a little lazy. And when I do them like today, I remember that those are my favorites. They start slower, you have more time to better your movements. I'm so glad I didn't give up today !
I felt exactly the same before starting the practice, as I was rolling the mat in front of my window, tired and intimidated by the length. Now I'm glad I didn't give up, so we're together in this. Have a great week.
Wow, this morning in April refresh my body was stiff. Even down dog seemed difficult. Then halfway through I was interrupted to give cuddles and cold compress to my son who had walloped his head on the fridge door. Somehow got back into the ‘flow’ and finished feeling thankful. I know it’s going to be a good day. Coincidentally my intention set at the start was ‘stay calm’!! Namaste all.
May Goal: Wake up with Adriene every day through the month! Day one complete. And go figure, this is exactly what my aching body needed. I appreciate you and your humor so much. Thank you!

Anybody from MOVE? What an awesome practice today. I want to thank Adriene for everything. My body has become so much stronger. Did a dumb thing yesterday reading and texting while walking down the steps of the underneath, twisted my ankle. Thanks to yoga last two and half months my feet became strong and the twist is mild. I thought I was going to fly all the way down, but the body did what it needed. I got an ankle support sock. This whole practice was fine and apart from not hanging in plank on the tops of feet I did everything. I am so grateful, Adriene. Who else has noticed miracles in your own experience? Love to all❤️

Still in lockdown here in England, I got lost in this 40 minute workout today, breathed along slowly with you Adriene and just did my senior thing. I had a mini rest during that final chaturanga, saving myself for the rest of this sequence. I wish I was more flexible but for me it’s all about the strength building and super positivity 😊 see you tomorrow on the mat 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💕
Flash back to May 2020 - I know, it’s not pleasant. I was panicking a bit, facing among the many anxieties of that time the closure of my fitness center. So, for my rapidly approaching 65th birthday (yeah, that was fun too) I asked for an exercise mat. I never could have imagined them that 2 years later I’m still not back at the fitness center but I do roll out my mat every day to join Adriene for yoga. I’m so thankful to my daughter for introducing me to Adriene. I’ve never felt better!
Now that felt good even though coming into it, I was not eager to do a longer practice. I really found rest in downward dog as well and that negative attitude regarding warrior poses is but a memory. Refresh day 24. 567 days in a row.

Did this 3 hours later than I wanted to because I just wasn't feeling up to moving at all. I then heard Adriene's voice in my head - "The hardest part is to show up." I'm so grateful to have completed this wonderful practice!
Cultivate 2021- Normally, I do your videos in the morning, so it was even weirder to do "Greet the day yoga" after dinner today, but now I feel so fresh and reset! I know, that for many people it's not much, but this was my fourteenth consecutive day doing yoga and I'm actually really proud of myself! Meditate day 6, November 2022. Still a day behind. Haven’t been well. Found this tough, but delighted to stick it out. Now to rest. Refresh Day 24, April 2022. Had to take a day off yesterday after minor medical procedure. Lovely to get back with this nice slow practice. Celebrate day 10. September 2022. First longer practice since covid. Grateful for the slow, deliberate approach. Wasn’t sure I would get through it, delighted i did.
Breath in January 2021 was the start of my yoga journey. At times I've wondered why it took me so long to start on this path yet a part of me believes breath was exactly the right focus to begin. My breath along with Adriene's voice to guide me has allowed me to continue to grow in this practice. 💞much gratitude for YWA & the community that helps me FWFG daily 💞

It’s true, I didn’t want to do anything today but rolled out my mat anyway, albeit reluctantly. I am grateful to Adriene and this practice! I feel so good now! I am happy to myself for knowing that I would indeed feel better if I do yoga today! Thank you!
This may have been a long yoga practice, (and I usually struggle a fair bit with the longer yoga practices) but it has made me feel a lot better after doing it. I'm about to grade after I spend some time on the mat to do today's short practice. I have to finalize grades. A new term starts Monday. I am grateful my lectures are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have been working 100% on-line. Next Friday, I will start going to the campus to tutor. I'm not too excited about that as I prefer virtual work. I don't like people in my face since COVID. I will have my sanitizer and keep my distance. I do have the spa and a hair appointment to look forward to on Monday. I am so thrilled I inspired you. I will return to my run on Sunday. When you say hoop are you referencing to basket ball? I used to play with my family. My late father, Barry the marine build a basketball court in our backyard and we would play against other people in the neighborhood and relatives. We were a competitive family. Ok I guess I thought I was the only one...I started just before the new year...10-15 min in the morning, 10-15 at night using Adrienne’s morning and bedtime routines. I hadn’t been doing exercise in quite a while. What a difference a month can make! I feel so much better and stronger. This has been a Godsend, and I am so grateful to have found Adrienne and to have begun my daily practice. Now I’m trying to get my hubby to do it with me....
@@cherylmihalovich3564 I was doing yoga everyday pre-pandemic. That daily practice got away from me during the last year. I made the commitment with Adrienne’s Breathe 30 day challenge and I loved it. I have been using some video everyday. Yesterday’s was wonderful and today I did a 35 minute flow. Again, wonderful. I am so happy I found her and grateful for the daily practice again. I am stronger but I want to get back where I was a year ago. Thank you to Adrienne for rescuing all of us!

So, today is first day that I'm not able to finish a practice. After two days of eating A LOT and not resting right. I felt tired and impatience and really weak. I had a awesome weekend with my friends and my family, but I wasn't in the right mind to finish today's practice. But I showed up, I rolled out my mat and I tried. Sometimes you gotta listen to your heart and listen to your body. I'll comeback to this another time, hopefully I'll be better. Refresh day 24, day 33 for me 💕
My heels touched the floor during downward dog today for the first time. I was psyched! No pushing or forcing, just the fruits of my regular practice starting to shine through :) Thank you, Adriene!

Developed a headache as morning moved into afternoon. Took a long nap and finally got myself to the mat after 5pm. I had to rest about halfway through, but I completed our practice today, even the warrior poses, which for some unknown reason, the mind has not wanted to do these last weeks. Today was the same. I started off begrudgingly doing those warriors, but by the end, some of that resistance had worn off. I wish the same could be said for the headache. Cultivate day 15. 315 days in a row.

Ok this is gonna sound silly but I went somewhere where I sat straight with no back to lean on for about 40 min. My core muscles were never strong enough to allow for comfortable straight posture till now. Been somewhat consistent with yoga since January. Thank you!

After 2 weeks of barely getting on the mat I chose this one from the cultivate calender to get stated again. My body was so grateful.... and so is my mind
GREET 🌅 | May 1, 2024 | What a great way to greet May! As my previous visits with this practice, I did not do this in the morning, but after a long workday, sitting in Zoom meetings for hours on end. So while I'm greeting my evening rather than my day, this was a great way to get my body moving and breathing again! 🙏
I remember doing this practice in April 2020 and struggling to get through it. Little did I know I'd finally commit to near daily yoga and 4 years later, this practice is so much easier and I am so much stronger! Coming around full circle! I'm from Russia and I'm lucky my English is good enough so I found your channel during last summer when everything was on lockdown and your yoga guidance was just what I needed for a beginner. I tried group yoga some time ago and didn't like how it was teached and then just vsited gym for many years. The way how you give attention to all the details, how the poses work, to not just make it look similar, but to really explain it, how you help and guide to build concentration and consciousness of what you feel and do, I'm so thankful for that experience.

Overall my entire body is feeling pretty good. Back issues are asleep and neck is feeling pretty good. Yoga a day can keep the Doctor away. Not a fast pace like the short versions, but a steady and slow pace. Gracias!

UNION ♾ | November 29, 2023 | Lovely to come back to this slow and deliberate practice. I didn't do this in the morning, but rather in the afternoon which means I started the practice with a busy mind processing the activities of the day thus far. But it didn't take long before the connection of breath and movement brought me into the present moment, and now I'm awake again. 🙏
I did a little less than half the practice think morning, and I just finished the entire video now. This morning after three sun salutations, I felt calm. This is such a great flow. Perfect for anytime. Thank you 💛

Still in lockdown here in England, I got lost in this 40 minute workout today, breathed along slowly with you Adriene and just did my senior thing. I had a mini rest during that final chaturanga, saving myself for the rest of this sequence. Flash back to May 2020 - I know, it’s not pleasant. I was panicking a bit, facing among the many anxieties of that time the closure of my fitness center. So, for my rapidly approaching 65th birthday (yeah, that was fun too) I asked for an exercise mat. I never could have imagined them that 2 years later I’m still not back at the fitness center but I do roll out my mat every day to join Adriene for yoga. I’m so thankful to my daughter for introducing me to Adriene. I’ve never felt better!

Cultivate 2021- Normally, I do your videos in the morning, so it was even weirder to do "Greet the day yoga" after dinner today, but now I feel so fresh and reset! I know, that for many people it's not much, but this was my fourteenth consecutive day doing yoga and I'm actually really proud of myself! Celebrate day 10. September 2022. First longer practice since covid. Grateful for the slow, deliberate approach. Wasn’t sure I would get through it, delighted i did.
Breath in January 2021 was the start of my yoga journey. At times I've wondered why it took me so long to start on this path yet a part of me believes breath was exactly the right focus to begin. My breath along with Adriene's voice to guide me has allowed me to continue to grow in this practice.

This may have been a long yoga practice, (and I usually struggle a fair bit with the longer yoga practices) but it has made me feel a lot better after doing it. I'm about to grade after I spend some time on the mat to do today's short practice. I have to finalize grades. A new term starts Monday. I am grateful my lectures are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have been working 100% on-line. Next Friday, I will start going to the campus to tutor. I'm not too excited about that as I prefer virtual work. I don't like people in my face since COVID. I will have my sanitizer and keep my distance. I do have the spa and a hair appointment to look forward to on Monday. I am so thrilled I inspired you. I will return to my run on Sunday. When you say hoop are you referencing to basket ball? I used to play with my family. My late father, Barry the marine build a basketball court in our backyard and we would play against other people in the neighborhood and relatives. We were a competitive family. Ok I guess I thought I was the only one...I started just before the new year...10-15 min in the morning, 10-15 at night using Adrienne’s morning and bedtime routines. I hadn’t been doing exercise in quite a while. What a difference a month can make! I feel so much better and stronger. This has been a Godsend, and I am so grateful to have found Adrienne and to have begun my daily practice. Now I’m trying to get my hubby to do it with me....

I made the commitment with Adrienne’s Breathe 30 day challenge and I loved it. I have been using some video everyday. Yesterday’s was wonderful and today I did a 35 minute flow. Again, wonderful. I am so happy I found her and grateful for the daily practice again. I am stronger but I want to get back where I was a year ago. Thank you to Adrienne for rescuing all of us!

So, today is first day that I'm not able to finish a practice. After two days of eating A LOT and not resting right. I felt tired and impatience and really weak. I had a awesome weekend with my friends and my family, but I wasn't in the right mind to finish today's practice. But I showed up, I rolled out my mat and I tried. Sometimes you gotta listen to your heart and listen to your body. I'll comeback to this another time, hopefully I'll be better. Refresh day 24, day 33 for me 💕
My heels touched the floor during downward dog today for the first time. I was psyched! No pushing or forcing, just the fruits of my regular practice starting to shine through :) Thank you, Adriene!

Developed a headache as morning moved into afternoon. Took a long nap and finally got myself to the mat after 5pm. I had to rest about halfway through, but I completed our practice today, even the warrior poses, which for some unknown reason, the mind has not wanted to do these last weeks. Today was the same. I started off begrudgingly doing those warriors, but by the end, some of that resistance had worn off. I wish the same could be said for the headache.

Ok this is gonna sound silly but I went somewhere where I sat straight with no back to lean on for about 40 min. My core muscles were never strong enough to allow for comfortable straight posture till now. Been somewhat consistent with yoga since January. Thank you!

After 2 weeks of barely getting on the mat I chose this one from the cultivate calender to get stated again. My body was so grateful.... and so is my mind
GREET 🌅 | May 1, 2024 | What a great way to greet May! As my previous visits with this practice, I did not do this in the morning, but after a long workday, sitting in Zoom meetings for hours on end. So while I'm greeting my evening rather than my day, this was a great way to get my body moving and breathing again! 🙏
I remember doing this practice in April 2020 and struggling to get through it. Little did I know I'd finally commit to near daily yoga and 4 years later, this practice is so much easier and I am so much stronger! Coming around full circle! Happy May and Happy Spring and Thank You as always, Adriene! ❤

I'm from Russia and I'm lucky my English is good enough so I found your channel during last summer when everything was on lockdown and your yoga guidance was just what I needed for a beginner. I tried group yoga some time ago and didn't like how it was teached and then just vsited gym for many years. The way how you give attention to all the details, how the poses work, to not just make it look similar, but to really explain it, how you help and guide to build concentration and consciousness of what you feel and do, I'm so thankful for that experience.

Overall my entire body is feeling pretty good. Back issues are asleep and neck is feeling pretty good. Yoga a day can keep the Doctor away. Not a fast pace like the short versions, but a steady and slow pace. Gracias!

UNION ♾ | November 29, 2023 | Lovely to come back to this slow and deliberate practice. I didn't do this in the morning, but rather in the afternoon which means I started the practice with a busy mind processing the activities of the day thus far. But it didn't take long before the connection of breath and movement brought me into the present moment, and now I'm awake again. 🙏
