I am waiting for the new afd support for two reason. 1st one is do to luna deck getting love at of all the signers her deck was the weakest (if you play any 5d games luna was basically few wins) 2nd reason is the super heavy samurai effect let them attack in defense mode i just love that effect
If prizing isn’t going to be a large cash sum, then it should be ridiculous custom product. Give me an iconic card engraved in literal gold or silver or platinum. Give me an actual golden millennium item. Something on theme that truly can only be earned by a champion of the game, not bought off a shelf at Walmart. So it at least has sentimental and collector’s value.
2025 is a really promising year for yugioh with the new anime, Sky Striker Support, Evil Heroes, Dragon Maids, Evil Twins, New Gem Knights, Primte, Blue eyes, more Dibaellstar lore, the return of the Yugioh video game, and Tenyei there is a ton for me to be excited for and hopefully more surprises too.
Monkey's paw be like: you get support but it's another floodgate boss monster that many will hate, then it gets banned for 4 years like Colossus. Though I am with ya, I want to see all the powered up TOSS decks go at it once more.
Another year of hoping for a western release of the Official Card Game Stories manga. With Animation Chronicle on the horizon it might actually happen.
I'm honestly excited for A-Bao-A-Qu, the Lightless Shadow to come out, because I WILL be throwing it into Abyss Actor Also can't wait to find out if the new Dark World support leaks are real or not.
I am excited for Cyber support and Jurrac support! More support Konami! Build legacies for old cards that people love! Even if they can't do the exact same thing that they used to!
I want PSY-Frames to get more support and different level monsters. A level 4 normal and level 3&4 effect monsters. Would be nice if they had an XYZ and a Fusion with some crazy effects.
Early days collection. I've played like everything in it at one point or another on an emulator but it'll be nice to have like, a bunch of old school yugioh games on my switch. I want to be bored one day then boot up EDS to drop Summoned Skull on Joey.
Hopefully this year the TCG acknowledges the tactical try decks and make some of their own, as a 18 yo living in Brazil this game is just way too expensive to me to be able to play properly IRL.
I feel for you, dude! My old locals in Brazil sized down the weekly events from 3 to 1 due to low attendance when everyone was priced out from SE meta. I'm living in Japan now, and I can't imagine I'd play YGO ever again if I came back.
I dont think anything is beating 2017 for me. We had a format where every summon mechanic was meta for the 1st time ever! Even tribute summoning thanks to monarchs
I'm also excited for SUDA, but for the new TCG exclusive. Mitsurugi is the last shot of copium I needed to bring my precious Ogdoadics to locals. Not the best time since the meta contains a Shifter deck, but hey.
Evil Hero just being more garnets in HERO? I saw a deck profile that managed to squeeze some of the new stuff in and still keep the deck size around 45. Looked pretty good to me.
If darklords don’t get support in 2025 i will just end it with a letter blaming Konami for it not bringing any darklord support so they get social criticism and maybe other darklord enjoyer could see the possibility of new support
Year of fire is over, and it looks like there's a lot of tiered decks, even accounting for the Rizzler and Alice in Waifuland. Primite Blue eyes, Mermail, Lab, Memento, and so much more have seen a good amount of tops in the OCG. The issue is Fuwaross, but that's looking to be reprinted soon and can go in every deck.
With Gimmick Puppet and Herald having support, and Ryzeal (xyz) bandwagon, I honestly hope for more Chronomaly support that aids its OTK (machu mech + chateau), or Konami could make a Dyson archetype for V. Arcjet Lightcraft was a poopoo and had VFD syndrome, so i expect justice

5:40 The target pool for Seventh Tachyon is even bigger than most people realise because they forget that the Chaos Over Hundred Numbers can also be revealed (albeit for more awkward Levels) so with the right target in the Extra Deck you can grab:

• *103/C103:* _Level 4/5 WATER or Fairy monsters;_

• Any _Level 5 Rock;_
• Any _Level 8 LIGHT;_
• Any _Level 8 Dragon;_
• Any _Level 9 LIGHT;_
• Any _Level 9 Dragon._

• It's not dead Turn 1/doesn't require prior setup to be live unlike, say, Resonator Engine (which can technically search _any_ Level 4 monster but needs 2 Resonators in the GY first);
• Its criteria is lowkey easy to meet unlike, say, Small World, which requires you to match exactly/only 1 stat of 5 between a pair of monsters, _(twice_ for the bridge), which is so difficult that there's a website dedicated to working out the best bridges between any two monsters;
• Its 'cost' to return a card in your hand to the top of your Deck is synergistic in its own archetype (lets you reset cards which need to be topdecked like The Seventh One or Barian Chaos Draw), can be generically useful elsewhere to reset Garnets (like that Driver glued to your hand) and doesn't make you go negative unlike, say, Single Purchase, which forces you to go at best -3 (if you have at least 3 other cards in your hand and none are monsters, banish your entire hand face-up) _for cost._
• Its restriction (locks you out of the Extra Deck besides Xyz Monsters) still gives you enough room to make plays (even something like say Bagooska pass) unlike, say, the aforementioned Single Purchase (which lets you search any monster but then locks you out of Normal or Special Summoning for the rest of the turn except monsters with that name).
The only real competitor is Small World, and if Seventh Tachyon didn't lock you into Xyz (and if 104 was DARK), I don't think any other card would be in contention outside of wacky, super-specific shenanigans (besides maybe pre-errata Witch/Sangan).

Really want to see the guardians get some support. The only guy to beat atem needs some representation
Did you try the rainbow surprise Combo pile?
People need to understand that the GX Remaster isn't a remake or animation. It's just the original but in a higher quality.
Didn't preorder the access code and Zeus models but will be picking them up when they go live. Also if the game could trend towards being cheaper, that'd be ideal
I just hope we get darklord supports it is truly my only wish
yugioh ots giving prizes from The Price Is Right is my favorite development
8:15mins, good job Dire
We need a Master Rule 6. It doesn't even have to be something new, just change something.
I will die before I play a single game of yugioh in 2025
I am waiting for the new afd support for two reason. 1st one is do to luna deck getting love at of all the signers her deck was the weakest (if you play any 5d games luna was basically few wins)
2nd reason is the super heavy samurai effect let them attack in defense mode i just love that effect
Gimme another year of the 25th Anniversary.
Good video 👍
That new reptile support gonna make Ogdoadic clap some cheeks
2025 is a really promising year for yugioh with the new anime, Sky Striker Support, Evil Heroes, Dragon Maids, Evil Twins, New Gem Knights, Primte, Blue eyes, more Dibaellstar lore, the return of the Yugioh video game, and Tenyei there is a ton for me to be excited for and hopefully more surprises too.
I'm hopping for new time thief support since redoer was the cover monster for master duel and the deck can do some cool stuff
What we need is a Neos dark t artwork
MBT REFERENCED YU-GI-OH CARD DATING GAME!!
MY LIFE IS COMPLETE. IT CAN END NOW!!!
Still coping that we might get Thunder Dragon support now that every other TOSS deck got something
Monkey's paw be like: you get support but it's another floodgate boss monster that many will hate, then it gets banned for 4 years like Colossus.
Though I am with ya, I want to see all the powered up TOSS decks go at it once more.
Fun fact: 2027 is the 25th anniversary of the Yugioh TCG :D
Looking forward to QCR's in 2 years time
Another year of hoping for a western release of the Official Card Game Stories manga.
With Animation Chronicle on the horizon it might actually happen.
I'm honestly excited for A-Bao-A-Qu, the Lightless Shadow to come out, because I WILL be throwing it into Abyss Actor
Also can't wait to find out if the new Dark World support leaks are real or not.
Wasn't there a copyright issue with air neos? They would've reprinted it a long time ago being a hero card
Im looking forward to the new tachyon support. It won’t make the galaxy deck meta but I don’t care about that. I just like the space dragon archetype
Bro, I'm just here for the new Traplich support.
I dont think anything is beating 2017 for me. We had a format where every summon mechanic was meta for the 1st time ever! Even tribute summoning thanks to monarchs
Just bought my orcust core all im missimg is ots galitea and dingirsu but atp 25th century or platinum rares will do.
When will it drop ra04 or ra05?😂
Happy New Year 🎊
I hope we get some support from decks like icejade, marincess, and other jank decks that have potential
0:06 what's this a reference to?
Some Christmas movie
I sadly was unable to make it into the thread. I’m getting my first in papers back this year and dream of one day playing dragon maid any suggestions?
I'm also excited for SUDA, but for the new TCG exclusive. Mitsurugi is the last shot of copium I needed to bring my precious Ogdoadics to locals. Not the best time since the meta contains a Shifter deck, but hey.
I can't wait to break super rejuvenation again
Evil Hero just being more garnets in HERO? I saw a deck profile that managed to squeeze some of the new stuff in and still keep the deck size around 45. Looked pretty good to me.
New Eldlich Support finally.
If darklords don’t get support in 2025 i will just end it with a letter blaming Konami for it not bringing any darklord support so they get social criticism and maybe other darklord enjoyer could see the possibility of new support
“N we are back…. tch tch”
I'm hoping more that they finally print archetypes from the anime that should've been came out like the wind cyberse deck
I am hoping to get back into Custom Yugioh card designs, its been a while.
We are finally getting a good misc rarity
I clearly don't own an Air Fryer
Well I just got solution for your problem 💀
@Ignister is my favorite deck so I'm going to eat well with Alliance Insight.
I'm just on full copium and hope that after the "pause" in Speed Duel releases we'll get 5D's.
It would be nice to have a more diverse format with a not so prohibitively expensive deck.
Play master duel for meta and tcg with cheap decks
Year of fire is over, and it looks like there's a lot of tiered decks, even accounting for the Rizzler and Alice in Waifuland. Primite Blue eyes, Mermail, Lab, Memento, and so much more have seen a good amount of tops in the OCG. The issue is Fuwaross, but that's looking to be reprinted soon and can go in every deck.
Cyber dragon, more cyber dragon, and even more cyber dragon
Yugioh seems to have a more promising 2025 than MtG, to be sure. At least all the cards are Yugioh cards.
Another year, another chance for Railway to get a few silly cards that can help it move back to rogue.
(I! Love! Big! Numbers!)
Surely Malefic support this year!
I just hope Konani changes they're product, so I can actually afford a meta deck
More ashened, and maliss, and battlin boxer, and phantom knights support please.
Talking about riffs, anybody know the german Ost for the original Yu Gi Oh anime? Fire riff right there.
I didn't post in this thread because Joseph 100% stole mine, I am SO excited for new Galatea and Girsu.
How to make 2025 better in Yugioh?? Make Dark Magician Meta!
Thank you for still coming it “Twitter” I’ll never call that platform “X” 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I just want all the Purrely quick spells to go back to 3, man. There’s no reason to keep them at any less than. The deck’s done.
