- The great boat chase scene from Moonraker and the following snake fight scene, all with the beautiful John Barry music! A fantastic sequence with no word spoken.
Glad to see this has become popular. This is one of my favourite Bond films, please check out my other clips from the film. - Фільми й анімація
When James Bond movies were fun. Isn't that what it's all about???
Heck yeah!
This is the most beautiful music I've ever heard, soo peaceful and relaxing.
Brilliant sequence. Fantastic score. Perfect. Jaw's face when they're about to go over...priceless.
😳
It was at that moment he realised he fucked up
I strongly believe Roger Moore was the best actor to have ever played James Bond; his bittersweet humor, unbeatable phlegm, unique handsomness, unfailing charm helped out by the quizzically raised eye brow , and disarmingly alternating mellow mes and solid action-packed outbursts ,all folded into one highly entertaining blend render him the swash buckling , unpredictable buckaneer that James Bond really is
😊ล😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Brilliant descprition of this articulate actor, Roger Moore, the best James Bond actor, I love him
For me it's Sean Connery 😅
Really? Even Roger Moore said he was the wrong person to play 007. Something about being too elegant for the role. But he needed the money. But after a while, the scripts got more amateur and comic bookish, even he couldn't stand it any more and quit. You are very wrong. Sean Connery is the one and only James Bond, 007. The rest are caricatures and imitations..
Absolutely
The goofiest Bond movie but also the most fun. I love "Moonraker".
I think Moonraker is one of the best 007 movies "goofied" by the laughable scene in San Marcos Square and the ridiculous trip to space. But the rest of movie is really good, Bond-stylished and sir Roger Moore plays the role better than ever.
jaws face when about to go off the edge is priceless!
Reign
Should've had him look bored, like he's thinking "Here I go again".
It was at this moment Jaws knew.... He fucked up
RIP, Sir Roger Moore. This scene is far and away the best 7 1/2 minutes of the entire Moore era. No dialogue but absolutely everything necessary being communicated to the viewer via picture and sound. An illustration of what Hitchcock called "pure cinema". It also makes a good representation of the Moore era: action, gadgets, stunts, danger, humor, beautiful sets and locations, and even more beautiful Bond girls. Drax's Girls are the "Angels of Death"(remember OHMSS?) for the Moore era.
Agreed. A truly great piece of film making. There hasn't been a Bond as great as Roger since.
I differ, live and let die extended boat chase is the best of moore imo.
The best Roger Moore scene in a Bond film, imo, is the 2CV car chase from For your eyes only. Moore`s funny oneliners, and the excellence of the Remi Julienne stunt team drivers, made that scene legendary, on some very narrow and curvy Sicilian roads.
Why Drax girls were smiling when python attacked Bond? Evil bitches?
Best roger Moore scene is the pool scene in fyeo or the dodgy dice scene in octopussy
Some have said that Drax is a rather bland villian, but Michael Lonsdale played him perfectly. A quietly spoken sociopath who has to build a world populated with his carefully chosen hangers-on and his one liners are excellent.
I agree. Way better than the sedated weirdo that was Stromberg. Hell, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME would have better had Drax been the main villain.
Look after Mr Bond, see that some harm comes to him.
Drax set the standard
I never appreciated Drax as a villain when I was a kid older yeah he is one of my top fave villains. The brutal sending out of the dogs chilling his calmness.
@@ricardocantoral7672 Stromberg would've been a better villain had he been Blofeld, as originally intended by Cubby and Maibaum.
The John Barry score for this scene is probably the most beautiful he has ever done for a Bond film! Bravo!
I don't think there's is a better John Barry soundtrack than this, utterly beautiful 💕💕💕
Is good song, buena banda sonora y la cancion de take the lektor 1964 desde Rusia con amor, también sonó por última vez en una película de James bond en 1979
My dad delivered this boat to the set in California . Got moore's autograph and everything. Pretty cool.
Fim ko hay
No way! That's cool. Which boat was it? Glastron?
Bullshit
Honestly i dont think that this is tru! In the movie Moonraker, Bond is being chased while driving a Glastron / Carlson CV23HT speedboat. Only 300 of these boats were ever built, and 3 of those were specially built for Eon Productions and custom painted in the silver metalflake gelcoat over gray. Only one of these three Bond boats still exists, and that one is currently owned by the Ian Fleming Foundation. The case was filmed at the Pinewoodstudio in GB. According to the Website of the Ian Fleming Foundation the shots are made in the Studios and in Brazil, none in the US.
really?
This boat is one of the best Bond vehicles ever!
I still like the Lotus Esprit sub the best.
Roger Moore is in heaven now listening to this music. Rest in peace Roger, great man great actor, very good to children with his work with unicef charity. May your kind soul rest in peace
How do you know he's in heaven?
When I was a kid Roger Moore , Clint Eastwood and Bruce Lee we're my hero's , I watched these in the 80s with my Dad , thank you Dad those are great memories and good times together. The man with the golden gun and Moonraker are my top two favorite bond films.

I always wondered from time to time just how many great movies we never got to see when the world lost Bruce Lee. He died way too soon.
Great chase scene and amazing stuntwork . No Cgi crap.
Moonraker is classic James bond
Rest in peace Sir Roger Moore
Good good good james bond 007 mantap
Moore was by far the best Bond. Richard Kiel, hands down the most beloved henchman. The fact he's the only one appearing twice and the only one to become a good guy proves this.
RK was just too scary, so him turning into a good guy was a great relieve for me as a kid
Two boat chases in one bond film: priceless!
Kudos to director Lewis Gilbert for directing the three most epic James bond movies in series, you only live twice, the spy who loved me and moonraker
7:21 - Jaws is like asking: "Trouble fighting that earthworm?"
Yeah you get that punch out of your system.
I couldn`t agree more! Moonraker is lovely high-class entertainment! And Ken Adam strikes again! :)
John Barry's 007 theme, a masterpiece, oh I wish they use that again in another Bond film.
Jyderrtuio😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
The crash test dummies ejecting sky high from the boat lol.
Your not a sportsman Mr Bond. Why did you break off the encounter with my pet python?
I discovered it had a crush on me. Classic Roger Moore.
One of the best James Bond scenes
Great James bond movie
The hang glider stunt was performed by a pilot from my hometown in England. He did a talk about it at my school. The glider was supposed to land on the shore but got blown off course and crashed in the jungle. The pilot refused to do the stunt again so they had to use the crash in the story.
10 years ago I posted this and I’m glad to see it’s still getting likes and comments!
ROGER Moore is so handsome and lucky to play the role of James Bond and be around all these beautiful women.
And not a single word of dialogue throughout the sequence
Rip Moore and Keil
in the spy who loved me jaws was bad then turned good in mooraker but in the cartoon series james bond jr. he was bad again that does not make sense
'Mr. Bond, why did you break off the encounter with my pet python?'
'I discovered it had a crush on me,'
Some poor fisherman in a canoe is going to have a bad day with those left over mines floating around.
RIP Roger Moore. My Fav Bond ...ever!
Everything fall in place for Bond one minute he is gliding next minute he walks into paradise with a beautiful girls waiting for him. Omg
Classic Bond scene with that music calmly playing in the scene's background.
This and the Lotus chase are unbeatable. Roger outdoing Indiana Jones before he was born. Nobody does it better
Very true. Strangely unacknowledged
The yellow dummies flying through the air is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣!!
Lol, Jaws' face when Bond flies off. He's just kinda like, "huh... probably should've figured he'd have something like that." 😂
Max Frankow. Wonder whatever happened to the boat.
Vuhnvtm
😃😃😃😃
It was the ultimate WTF face...
in the spy who loved me jaws was bad then turned good in mooraker but in the cartoon series james bond jr. he was bad again that does not make sense
James Bond movies are very great ever made I Love his movies I love to see more of them I give you five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fue en la frontera de mi país Paraguay, junto con Brasil y Argentina!
Very handsome Jamesbond character rest in peace
River chase sequence always reminded me of the Atari 5200 game “River Raid”.
This is 007 forever!! Roger Moore Thanks!!!!
Great job. Especially the boat chase, when the music starts, my favorite scene as well.

Brilliant scene. Thanks for posting. Moonraker is my favorite Bond film with interesting & unique storyline, superb visual effects, best Bond actor (Roger Moore) and best Bond girl (Lois Chiles). I adore this film
Hi
Best
Hi
Only J. Bond could find a girl like that in the middle of nowhere..
R.I.P. Roger Moore :( He is and always be Epic!
The only scene post-Diamonds Are Forever in which we hear the "007 Theme". This is actually my favourite rendition of it, too.

5:37 Rog: “Alright, what the bloody hell is going on?”
Good heavens, I've actually not seen this Bond film. Can't wait.
Aaron Walderslade Wow! It was released in 1979. Moonraker was the shtickiest of the Bond films but it’s my favorite.
@@mitchellpak2795-->Shtickiest ? Naw, that honor goes to "Die Another Day" but "Moonraker" was close!
John Barry at his absolute best
Yes, John Barry was the ONLY film composer who could properly score a James Bond film correctly.
I dunno, prefer John Barry's work in other Bonds overall. Octopussy is a personal favourite, but there are so many great ones it's hard to choose. I'm not actually that keen on his 007 theme, especially in this scene. It always felt quite dated and a bit too jolly, like something from an old British war film where people use the word 'spiffing' :) Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan, and the space music in Moonraker is incredible. Just find this boat scene to be a bit underwhelming.
I disagree, David Arnold make a splendid work either bringing Bond to a new era but still with those classic Bond sounds.
Still John Barry is the best Bond composer ever
Arnold was ok, but basically just Barry-lite with 90s beats and hugely unsubtle. I remember being underwhelmed by Serra's Goldeneye at the time because there wasn't enough classic Bond theme, and then seeing an interview with Arnold saying he had the same reaction. But then when Tomorrow Never Dies came along Arnold whacked the Bond theme in every time Bond did anything (like walk across a room!) and it was far worse. I know Dr No did the same but it was fresh then. Today Goldeneye holds up much better for me - it's weird and different and creates an atmosphere specific to the film. Arnold's scores weren't awful but became bland for me, especially the action scenes with looped beats and Barry-esque horn stabs Mickey Mousing every action. Just too predictable after a while. These days I'd rather see a composer do original work that brings the film its own flavour and uses the Bond theme sparingly for the really big moments. No one will ever match Barry doing Barry so they should do their own thing.
+greyztone Arnold had real enthusiasm for scoring Bond and was a Barry admirer but I agree - much of his Bond work was messy and far too relentless. I don't like Serra's Goldeneye score and I can't see me ever warming me to it. There has been a return to form with Thomas Newman but Barry's Bond music is simply untouchable.
You can't have that scene without the wisecrack at the end.I discovered he had a crush on me"
excellent music!!!!
What, no CGI? Heck no. RIP Roger Moore, my fave Bond.
Jtu
What's the name of the movie?
@@alibehzad555 Moonraker
I think the only Bond movie to use obvious CGI was Die Another Day. Im sure its used in Craig movies but very subtle.
@@BeeABaw skyfall helicopters were awful cgi when james bond called in the radio
The boat chase is probably my favorite scenes in this film, in that it's meant to be a kind of throwaway bridging scene, but the footage they got was really fantastic.
I pity the millennials since they never had the chance of seeing this movie in the theater. I used to go to the movies by myself because of the hot babes Bond used to mess around with and, of course, it was wonderfully more economical because I always came up with a convincing excuse to not bring my girlfriend along to see Bond films. Ticket, Popcorn and a Coke, that's about 35 bucks saved!
RIP, Sir Roger
Roger Moore remains so composed only Pierce Brosnan was close
tune is called 007, and yes was first heard in From Russia With Love, heard in Thunderball, You Only Live Twice Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker
moonraker is the most underated bond movie.it kicks ass.
Never fails and they usually have nice fresh ones
I have seen loads of James Bond films I have.
The look on Jaws face is priceless.
James Bond all dubbed Hindi movie all movie
James Bond all Hindi movie
What's movie name?
He is always happy.
excellent film clip::: James Bond::: Roger Moore!!!
The reaction of jaws when they will fall down the falls😂😂😂

That had me cracking up too
The only man who could rock a safari suit
Moonraker was a great James Bond movie and i'll prove it:
1)Holly Goodhead-Tell me with a straight face you wouldn't hit that. Defining Dialog:"James, take me around the world one more time."
2)Jaws, freelance giant metal-mouthed psychopath that Bond tried to kill numerous times and failed. Defining Dialog: "Well, here's to us."
3)Orbital Laser Tag War-You get to see space marines fight Drax's Super Race in low Earth Orbit! Pew, pew, pew, pew!
4)The Plot: The murder of all life on Earth.
A+
carnivalofsouls2047
The space theme was a little too out there for it to be classified as good, imo. Bond lost his credibility in the space setting.
I'd hit the French chick with the short hair first.
Sir Roger Moore was next to Sean Connery the very best Bond actor all the times
The women in this scene are The best, all having been introduced by Drax...the music is John Barry at his best here in the python scene with the girls all looking on
So how does Quantum of Solace fair to Moonraker? IMO, Moonraker is a far superior Bond film. It has everything that was great about Bond - Q and the gadgets, good humour and a villain intent on destroying the world -what more could you want! And at least in Moonraker you can make out what's going on and James Bond isn't a heartless thug!
The problem with Moonraker, imo, was the space theme. Bond became too science fiction. Clever gadgets is excellent, but intended for this world and challenges - not for space fights. Bond lost almost all authenticity in that setting.
Tvjunkieful12 roger was a clown of a bond.craig is better. Too bad the movie wasn’t More realistic.
Fonejacker Wrong again. Daniel Craig portrays Bond at his most coldest. Which is what Fleming’s character is meant to be, not a playboy battling a megalomaniac in some outlandish plot that bloated much of the franchise when Moore was in the role.
Casino Royale was the shot in the arm Bond needed.
Best part of the movie
To me, ok might have mentioned before, this is the best James Bond movie and of course the music is the... amazing, cannot but be amazed. But also, the effects especially near the so called end, it is amazing also how they made the shutte things. Some say it is not nice and too "scifi". I think it just fits well. One of the best Bond movies and Roger Moore is cool! PS. He has not died btw.
Cheers...
Scary how quickly Roger Moore had aged by the time of View to a kill in 1985. He was still in good nick in 1979...just 6 years earlier
He still looked awesome in For Your Eyes Only . Perhaps Sir Roger Moore should have quit the James Bond role after that ( heard he really wanted to quit then but 'Cubby' Broccoli , the producer insisted he stay on ) instead of doing Octopussy and A View To A Kill which pale in comparison to the other 5 he did.
When Moore did his first Bond movie in 1973, he was 45. In comparison Connery was 42. Pretty impressive for Moore.
@@travissteib6592 Connery was 32
David Scott no I didn’t explain it correctly. As one might expect they were looking for a younger Bond and they found it in Moore. But Moore was actually older at the time. In ‘73 he was 45, Connery was 42. Moore just looked younger. Moore was born in 1927, Connery in 1930.
"Why did you break off the encounter with my pet python? "
"I discovered it had a crush on me"
This scene was filmed on the north fork of the st Lucie River, we used to go play in the buildings left over from the movie in the 80s, now it's a botanical garden.
Jaws' face at 3.20 is priceless :D
Oh and @GehlenBND, love that old school Bond track, though I must say it reminds me more of Largo getting boshed on Thunderball than it does Moonraker :)
Fantastic movie
I own 1 of the moonrakers and fly to the moon in it every wekend.
The girls were beautiful, but evil- They knew that he was about to become Snakechow.
I love the music during the chase lol 'just a leisurely scenic river naval battle'
Uwielbiam takie kiczowate filmy,a Buźka jest zajebisty.
Just got to love Jaws
Roger Moore judges Miss World 1979, poolside.
Please, bring back the "007" theme
May his soul R.I.P
Wow , Super go , Mr. James ; you are the greatest James Bond 007 ; so enjoyable for me to ; Kill My Times , 😊
2:55 - This moment deserved the Bond theme, it’s pretty badass and surprising!
Mr Bond don't ever judge a book by it's cover.lol
Jaws - fav Bond villain 💯
my family owns the boat that james bond uses in this boat chase it is awesome i go water skiing behind it all the time
They use to turn out a great film every two years. Now the films are less fun and take 4 years.
While I know we needed to be able to see it on film, it always bugged me that Bond's wings were not blue on bottom and camo on top. He was trying to break into a secret jungle lair.
1:14 best dummy explosion ever...
Super scene really even today
Rojer Moore, the most popular bond. RIP
No Sean Connery is the best bond forever
One of the best scenes in movies history. Might have said this before, but still, my opinion :) Cheers...
This is back in the days of old, where they used an actual real snake.
Great movie. Loved the boat scene, the other boat scene in Italy where the guy looks at his bottle of wine; a recurring. scene. Jaws becoming a good guy again.
THE BEST JAMES BOND
IS ROGER MOORE
