I think one of the things that makes this song so great is that - it isn't a super happy/joyful cheery song like most christmas songs! It is a little more understated and melancholy. The chords are really what make this song amazing!
Mmh, but I think it is too sad, listen to Alicia Keys or Norah Jones... it isn't so depressed. Here only the last chord has some light. Should be chilling, ceremonial and a thrill of anticipation.
Never played piano in my life. But my kids got some weird roll up electric keyboard. Just out of curiosity, after work one night I Googled something simple I could try play. Stumbled upon your video from a couple years back on that Alan walker song and honestly I had so much fun. Whether or not I continue trying to learn is to be decided but if I do, it was thanks to your videos.
My favorite song! You are an amazing teacher. I love the way you s-l-o-w-l-y explain the chords. With your teaching method and calm voice, I feel like I can learn how to play this song. THANK YOU!
I’m watching and it’s funny yesterday we were just talking about learning this song....but I’m thinking I’m way less then a beginner lol. I think this song may need to wait until next Christmas (hopefully 😅). Currently, I’m playing 5 finger books 😅. But my “why” to learn to play is only because I LOVE Christmas music 🎼 so much! Christmas in my heart ❤️ all year round! I’ll learn this eventually! Thank you for the lesson!
Great arrangement Kevin. It sounds rich but the chords flow smoothly to make it playable by all. Your blues teachings are also great. Much mahalo Kevin. 😎🤙
thank you so much! I used this tutorial as a launching off point, and sorta pieced together my own version from other tutorials. But yours is the easiest and most straightforward. Many thanks!
This song's beautiful! I ❤️ it very much. Xmas time's here. I love the sweat ending. God bless you and your family and friends. Hugs and have a beautiful Christmas to all people of Pianote.
Hi! Love this video. I would like to ask, are you planning to record a video about playing piano to backing tracks? I am learning Let it be (beginner) and my husband who plays guitar suggested I play with backing tracks, but how? Is it a good practice? Thanks in advance

My absolute favorite Christmas song to play. I play a simpler version but I love this version even better. Thank you!

The booklet is sold out, is there somewhere I could just buy the PDF sheet music for just this specific piece?
