Thank you so much, we are glad they are helpful 😀 Alicia is trying to learn Italian and is doing the same thing. She is listening to videos and podcasts in Italian 🙌
What a fun train ride! So glad you guys got some food. That's always my biggest fear on those trains. I don't want to be hungry. Super helpful video to see what to expect when traveling on the Reunification Express in VIetnam. Loved it!
i was on this train today. I did not book a cabin alone as i am solo. My vietnamese bunk neighbor had a bad cough the whole time. Halfway through the journey he nonchalantly stood up out of bed and pissed in a water bottle. no roaches though!!
An you tell me how to book VIP tow berth cabin from USA? We plan to get book it for Dec trip to Vietnam, but only 4 berth cabinet available. Please let me know how to book it? Nik
We book everything on 12go.asia. This room is only available on trains SE1 and SE2, but there are only 4 per train. I believe, since travel is in full bloom again, that the few they have are selling out very quickly. Sorry we can't be of more help.
Hey Alicia and Nate, Good call! in transportation delays, it's always a good time for some food and yours looks so yummy! Thanks for being transparent and admitting you weren't sure when or if you would be fed on the train. I was just thinking about the logistics of us doing something like this along with communication fears and all. haha nice job bringing the rain. 🌧 There is something amazing about getting to lay flat while on the move! Thanks for sharing guys!~ Rachel
Looks like states owned trains have gotten a lot better in the last 20 years. Last time I took it 10 years ago, it was still dirty, noisy with people lied on the floor on the walkway and chicken and dogs and cats make all kind of noises at night.

Are you able to link the train you went on from HCM to Da Nang, I looked and it’s showing none available in May ?

Much more interesting when you avoid the vip cabins. You get to meet some interesting people.

It’s obvious you have limited vocabulary. But don’t call a compartment a room 😂
2:18 No queue. It always happens in Vietnam. Sorry for that. Young generation is better now.
