The game in the original used to scale based on the battle count (all battles even when you fled) The remake seems to scale based on battle won and magic level. As you said, both games actually entice players to lose party members and experimenting.
While heavy grinding is not encouraged, this shouldn't lead people to another very common trap: not fighting If you ignored too many encounters, you're gonna have a terrible time. I remember vividly struggling hard against Kzinssie, only to trample him easily once I fought all those battles that I skipped. Generally you don't want to break the natural flow, don't mindlessly revisit a dungeon just to grind but don't be afraid of fully clearing places the first time you explore them Also, buff and debuffs are king, expecially the defensive ones. Missle shield carried my Dantarg boss battle
From what I can tell, there is a limit to how much the enemy level will increase in a generation. Never had it go more than 2 levels, and I’m doing 200+ battles per generation. Usually takes 60 battles for it to go up.
I am rank 15 right before final fight and I am not having issues but I focused 1-2 skills per person. Magic users only focus one spell because my mage at 35 magic stat does 8k with stone fall it mostly kills everything in one hit. Best tip is make sure you don’t spread your tp too thin. Max he has done at 51 Terra is 13k
thats some great advice focus one magic skill to do insane damage. also the tp tip is good too better to focus than be good at everything and do less damage
Yeah I just realized not to grind too much when my monster level went to 4 and i was like wtf why am I weaker now all of a sudden.....hope I can get out of this death spiral as I just finished the goblin cave.
I am with you but you have to grind a little , for money. Money is very hard to come by in the game and it seems the higher your garden level is the more gold you get for beating mobs . Gold is really really hard to get what you need you spend millions just trying to upgrade 3 things of gear . So you have to grind a little
I love that they cut all the drama of recruiting new heroes every time skip band having to redo all of their abilities and magic. I love this remake so much!!
Thanks for watching. This is a great game i hope more people give it a chance.
Thanks for being the only creator to make a "Tips and Tricks" video that actually gives tips and tricks.

@@faizedfoxgaming7426 I am lvl 16 now with 75 Terra she is now doing 9.5k-15k.
Also a tip I have not seen anyone say including myself is when you climb vines and ladders you can sprint up them.
@@leoanderson6226 that is good info u can sprint up ladder heck yeah
@@whitefox25 another one is unison attacks if the enemy is resistant to that attack it negates it. Didn’t figure that out till a day or two ago.
Do you have any tips of party composition and how to keep the br low through out the game?
Good tips. Thanks. Sounds like Darkest Dungeon in a way.
Yeah, there’s a lot of permadeath involved in both!
