Im playing Flubs myself, but i took a different approach, I'm storming with artifacts and artifacts cost reductors cause at some point you don't even need the mana, and you worries less about colors, even have the upside of some artifacts have the ability to sacrifice fo to draw a card and some interaction like bounce etc.

When Flubs is bounced before his trigger, I don't thing you draw and discard. You just discard Flubs
