Oh that looks so much better now! The details of his hand and gum so much clearer and you did an amazing job on the hair! The big question is do you like it better now? As a collector, i know modifying things can devalue them. But if that was mine, it would be more valuable to me now, because that's the way it should have looked brand new. I've never tried those little things for pastels, they might be just what i need. And i really need to try pastels on my figures, why didn't i think of using them before?? I've been fighting paint to try to make it look like make-up and blush and i can't make it look right. Maybe cause I'm a guy and have no idea how to apply make-up? 😂.
Thank you! I think it looks much better too! I got the pastel idea from someone building a garage kit of an armor frame girl kit I think. I saw their video and thought it was genius! (Too bad I don’t remember who it is, I’d love to give them credit). I thought it was so smart for skin because it’s a lot subtler than I find paint to be. As for collecting, I collect for myself above all else. So, to me it’s more valuable now than before, but tbh I don’t care much for the dollar value of anything in my collection, it’s more about what it means to me. Just the fact I worked on this makes it more valuable to me than it was before :)
@@Konsuming_PlastiK that's exactly how I thought you would think, that is more valuable to you now. I thought about trying to airbrush the shading and make-up, but I think the ones I do are too small. With the pastels, if I mess up, it's easy to remove and try again. Plus it doesn't build up thickness like paint. I'm gonna have to try that this week. Now if there was an easy way to do the eyes...
@@pappytinkers The trickiness of doing eyes is the one big reason I'm waiting on fixing up the Tanya figure. I think I might cheat and make them on the computer, then print them out and stick them on. I used to do that with dolls and temporary tattoo paper, but I'm sure there's a better way I just have to do some research :)
@@Konsuming_PlastiK there used to be a company that made decal eyes but not sure they are in business any more. The techniques are different I think for different scales. Toss in anime and that adds a whole new twist. In your case, I wonder if it would be better just to paint both eyes instead of just trying to match one?
@@pappytinkers I think I'll attempt making and printing my own designs and see if it works, if not I'll just paint over that lol. It's going to be a lot of trial and error, but I'll figure it out eventually :D
Hello just to let you know I’ve got the maus model kit from girls und anzer I want to recreate the scene where ororia first come across the tank where it reverses in full sight in that alley scene from the last few episodes of kuromine forgive me if I’ve written the team names wrong 😂
