Indeed! Based upon the WPL chassis design, it's tough to call some of what's available an actual upgrade. The worst part about them is the gear box obstruction and the link mounts. But, for all it's worth, I've got multiple WPL trucks and I've been glad they've been a part of my collection since day one. You learn to drive around those things.
@@VermontScaleCustoms I think trx4m shocks is a perfect solution! Mine is far from done, I just dropped the c74 gearbox with the 370 and the c74 electronics (for now).
Wait, for some reason, I thought this was the newest video. Yes! This rack totally rounds out this truck. I love it. I want one of those FCX LC80s now. Been looking at those like I need one for some reason.
Thanks, Giorgos! Mine needs some better shocks. I'd almost like to see if some of the Traxxas 1/18 stuff would work. Get some nice oil filled shocks for it.
I'm pretty sure I picked that up from the Resource in Hyde Park for $5 a few years ago. Needed a drill that wasn't cordless to run a wire wheel and that ended up being the drill will pretty much never die.
WPL is unique is the best way to describe them. The C24/14 chassis has front and rear link mount points that extend down below the rail and there's a gearbox to contend with. Years ago, I learned to crawl/drive with them so I'm pretty used to how to drive with them. These little rigs are pretty tough once you get them built. This truck is three years old and still running strong!
They're a few years old so they're really broken in. I got them at Amazon but I'm pretty sure you can find these just about anywhere now: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09C2ZXRQ7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I didn't realize WPL was that upgradable. Nice

Hey dude, when you were in Vermont did you go to many crawler events?
Nope, just kept to myself and a couple of friends. There were a couple that went on but I never made it to them.
What was all that underneath all that metal looking stuff is that the motor and trans
