PNW Fall Chanterelle Hunting! Forage and Cook STROGANOFF RECIPE!

Puppy time in the woods! Finnegan freakin LOVES the forest and we love hunting Chanterelles, so this is a perfect mix!
After we found a ton of wild mushrooms, we took them home and created what was probably the best chanterelle dish I've ever had. HIGHLY recommend!

I love the attitude but stopped after seeing him PULL UP the first chanterelle he saw! ....ALWAYS leave the root or your chanterelle crops will not reproduce.....tks.

Ahhh always cut vs pluck! haha I think plucking doesn't do too much damage to the mycelium. They are hardier than that and I haven't had a problem with chants recurring yearly in the same areas I pluck em!
