I think what's happening is that lance natively speaks Spanish (in the comic)and some people find it hard to speak English so they have to translate what they're thinking inside their heads so it takes longer

Yeah. I’m bilingual, I just think in a language or in the other. If I don’t find a word, then I’ll translate it.
