Once you learn what you’re doing you can run shop at your garage make extremely good money
That and you can make submarine parts rocket ship parts aircraft parts.
Given somebody else a job spending money in your community that would not have been there it’s a way to pay it back every dollar you spend goes around your community many times.
A lot of what you call machinist parts changers.
CNC machines need a lot of that.

Props Chris, I do the same as you did with doubting my abilities with learning new skills. I too am not good at math and do use print outs with conversions. Fun fact, they actually invented the calculator because of my dumb ass 😂 Back in the day before all the tech we have today it would have been extremely difficult for folks like you and me to land jobs like that.
I worked at a spot where right behind the shop was a building loaded with huge CNC machines. They made extremely small medical grade tools. I actually interviewed there and got a tour. Each machine had a roughly 3’tall x 2’ wide touch screen mounted to it. Punch in the specs and let it work.
I took CAD in high school back in 1998. We used computers to do mock ups in CAD though the first few weeks we drew everything big hand on graph paper exactly how it would go into the computer (to size).
In 2016 I landed a job producing ADA signs on a CNC machine. We used calipers to check braille depth but everything was set up in our computer program. The biggest issue I had was making sure that the bit depth was proper. If not bits would snap.
You got this brother, I have faith in your abilities and your determination to learn a new skill and excel! Not only for yourself but those around you.
Can’t wait for the next update! 🤘

Hey, man. Thank you so much. That is wild how you just kind of floated out of curiosity and landed where ya did, great stuff. Thanks for sharing man.

I’m proud of you man. Going up to teacher like that takes guts. You could have easily just skipped out but decided to confront what terrified you. Thanks for sharing and being vulnerable. Being real. That sunken filling I’ve also had a couple times. Similar circumstances too. I look forward to these blogs. 😎

Love that you're doing it Creep! Those hurdles you jump may seem high, but I know you can do it!
