Good job on your analyst. Jason Licht has done a great job of keeping the Bucs relevant after the window shut or below the top 10 teams. We did not collapse like we did after the 2002 S.B. win. Most of that was due to not spending money/Man U. being more important. The Salary Cap being pushed back continuously has destroyed the Saints. The Bucs did all that around T.Brady and bit the bullet last year. I hope Todd Bowles can win more consistently. The coaches are building something special. If they start off bad it may come apart quickly with someone like Belichick's name hovering around the coaches. I think Jason Licht has proven himself. He has separated himself from Bowles. They are not attached.
2024 off-season was a quiet foundation laying for next season . 2025 is when we go for it in Free Agency and try to make a run for the Superbowl. I still think we will win the division this year but we don't have the depth ANYWHERE to make a deep run in the playoffs. 2025 we will load up.
Matt saying the WR depth is a weakness but RB depth isn't is absolute lunacy 😂 It's okay to project when it comes to 4th round pick Bucky Irving but it isn't okay to do so when it comes to 3rd round pick Jalen McMillan? Make it make sense 😂
Matt isn’t football savy by any stretch of the imagination and SR even floating the idea of cutting Nelly is nonsense. Also, last season we matched our highest sack total since Bowles got here w/48. The last time we had 48 total sacks before last season was 2019 when Shaq had 19.5 by himself. So essentially these guys really just want 1 player that has double digit sacks, even if we have
I have to agree… we have 2 running backs and one is an undersized rookie that I have high hopes for, but literally hasn’t been in the building. I’m not sure Chase Edmonds will even make it out of camp with how injury prone he is…. Running back is a liability for sure.
@@jsingletary position to watch for sure, but I don’t think we’re at the liability stage because we’ve got to see how the OL works out. Irving is a great runner, still don’t know what we have in Tucker but we’ve also got UDFA DJ Williams in the RB room as well. Now is the time to trust coach Peete and his guys to work towards maxing out on the talent we have, but it should be a committee approach all season long unless White makes it so he doesn’t come out the game. Waiting on Rachaad to channel his inner Matt Forte
Spending time on QB3 like it’s a huge deal but completely minimizing RB4 is backwards. Teams are way more likely to turn to their RB4 because of injuries than QB3

Jacquies Smith is the current outside LBs coach for the falcons

They need to kick Trask out the building and bring back my boy Ryan Griffen

Matt loving the depth at corner is WILD. I’d say that’s our weakest position 😂
Inside linebacker
