wish i could find more stuff of theirs that was similar to Mirror's Paradise, which has to be about the greatest song ever made. too bad most of their other stuff, while good, doesnt really seem to have the same kind of sound.

In regards for the audio and performance quality. I think you should also keep in mind this is a TV studio performance and that a live one with a mosh would see the band have a totally different energy and stage presence.

Yeah whenever someone says dimmu isnt black metal because they have a decent following i ask them what they would categorise them as. And its hardly mainstream anyway. Its not like they are number 1 in the top 40 charts and evey pre-teen girl is walking around with Progenies of the Great apocalypse as their ringtone now is it? Grow up! Metal is metal, live it and love it no matter what style or how popular it is. If you dont like it you dont like it. It doesnt make them a lesser band!

lex icon looked alot diffrent 7years ago 'cos hes got a lot fatter since then and lex has always been the same singer/bassist in the band *nod* there would no way be 2 lex's lol oh and he was also nagash in dimmu borgir! now at that time he definetly looked different
Yes we judge on appearance everyday. But music is an aural experience. Unless you can see sound waves eminating from your speakers i fail to see how you can judge a band visualy. I like Linkin Park also. I dont see what the fuss is with them. And in no way am i targeting you for your sexuality. I know a lot of gay people and they are some of the nicest people i know.
i miss jan in this band too, but the new drummer isnt the problem haha, the singer is!!! to focused on covering up all the weight hes put on with his cape, and his crappy live vocals with jumping around and make up, and pre recorded shit
The Kovenant rocks (in all the genres they have played) and is a is one of the cultural Norwegian metal bands (also featuring Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Emperor etc) Too bad the keyboardist is a big disappointment :(

i love the covenant/kovenant, but I hate the tone/sloppiness of the guitars on this version. and that keyboardist is the hardest working man in showbiz..... lol
