Lacking the ability to get out a 1 rep pull-up, Michael's choice has already been made.
Your arms will get fatigued hanging on like that for several minutes. Makes it pretty hard to do even one pull up when there's not blood circulating properly.
@@squatchpnw2331 I mean, they are supposed to be undead so fatigue shouldn't factor into it, it's perhaps the only flaw I can find in this masterpiece.

Turns out this is real. These guys are not "acting". They really did drop 100 feet or so from a train trestle.

They rebuilt part of the bridge (the real bridge being near Magic Mountain) on a set for that drop part of that scene. However, there's a very similar bridge next to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk that crosses over an ocean inlet, which is what this bridge was supposed to be. I've crossed that and even swam under it. It's only around 20 feet above water, which would not be something the actors would have panicked falling from unless they couldn't swim.
