I’ve never been to Disney world, but I want to go so much! This past August was the very first time I’ve been to any Disney park, which was Disneyland in Anaheim! It was such a fun and wonderful experience! All of the cast members from what I could tell were very kind and fun to be around! I honestly wish I had the opportunity to work at the happiest place on earth!
Nice week vlog! I love the Circus shop! My favorite snack station 💖 so cool you get to switch parks and places all the time! I understand not wanting to give out too much info, too risky nowadays ;) but thanks for sharing your experience! How exciting about a cast compliment!!!
It's my favorite store in MK! I love that you have to be going there on purpose - it's a hidden gem in my opinion with all of the freshly baked treats! Thanks so much for watching :D

Hello there !
Glad you're enjoying your Disney work experience.
I was very lucky to visit the LA park back in the 70s with my family. I loved the film's especially SnowWhite and Cinderella with all the little birds and mice being sung to. I really really wanted to be the little girl on the flying elephant ride which used to be on an advert for Disney..
It was wonderful going there and whizzing around in a flying elephant. But oh boy, did I have a traumatising unDisney experience at one of the rides, well in the queue to be precise. Maybe back then people were afraid to draw attention to themselves, step out of THE line, I don't know. So we were lined up waiting to go on a ride and we were right at the front of the queue, back then they had these sand filled ashtrays. Anyway this newly hatched tiny baby bird had fallen out of the nest and was struggling in this ashtray. It was boiling hot and this poor little baby bird all sticky and with no feathers because it must have just come out of the egg was desperate for somebody to just pop it back in it's nest but none of the grown ups were willing to help it.. I was so upset and all the adults could see it, they could have reached up to the nest easily on this little roof, but nobody did anything except for stare at me like I was nuts because I was so upset at this poor little bird and just so frustrated that nobody wanted to help it. I'm sure that wouldn't happen now, people are prepared now to help animals without feeling embarrassed or stupid or what ever it was.. At the time though it was the most upsetting thing I'd ever seen, really put me off grown ups for a long time.
Yes so that was a most unfortunate experience to have. But it didn't put me off Disney for life and had a great time as a grown up at the Florida park. We would stop on our way there in the mornings to pick up a carton of Dunkin Doughnut Holes. Ahh, those are nice memories.

8 days in a row was too much lol and same!! I used to get mad when I watch day in a life and it would skip from before work to after a shift, but I now I understand - we literally can't film anything backstage / while working!!

Question about work: do you find you have to pick up shifts either to get enough hours or money or whatever or is it just a personal choice?
eeeek good luck! I hope you enjoy it! and I was usually scheduled 5-6 days a week, but just traded certain shifts based on I didn't like the shift they gave me lol I never picked up a shift on my day off! it's hard to give an answer because it's different for every role and every location!

One thing I love to do is to pick the brains of the cast members. I dont know why? I think it comes from my love for Disney. My family members look at my like I'm crazy, but then they start engaging in the conversation too! That's why I love your channel! Cast members make vacations special!

I'm not sure if you'll ever see this but I am very interested in the DCP and I have been watching a lot of your videos and I think you mentioned that you did not take any of the classes the DCP offered but on the DCP website it mentions that you are not eligible if you are "taking time off" from school. Did you take online classes for your college or how does that work? Thank you so much your videos are really fun to watch! I have a few questions about working at Disney. 1. How much money do you make for working as much as you do? I would expect a lot since you’re good at the job. 2. Do the outfits you wear during the day come with working at Disney (like do they give you them or do you have to pay for them) and are they different for each place you work at? Like animal kingdom etc. Loved this video it was very interesting to see how working at Disney is. #DisneyVibes
We make slightly higher than minimum wage, and you go to costuming and check out your outfits! They're free as long as you return everything!
